We ate outside in the tented style area. My wife had the focacia n Hummus which she really enjoyed and I had the special of toulouse sausages with greens n onion gravy and herb mash. Delicious.
Arrived earlier than we had booked having explored and walked for hours. Happy to just chill with a drink outside. Staff asked us if we would like to eat earlier than we booked, we were hungry so delighted to do so. The pub is a wee gem, the staff are attentive, friendly but overall professional, yo
Just what we were looking for! Dog friendly, accommodates a wide range of dietary requirements and some of the most welcoming staff I have ever had the fortune to meet! Plus their Halloween decorations are on point 🍁
Evening meal with my wife, sons and their partners Thursday 28/07/23 evening. Welcome was very warm and friendly. Loved the atmosphere and the decor. Wine menu great, food to die for, best we have had all week. Worth every penny. BTW the Bloody Marys are amazing.
Thank you The Dreel Tavern. 😁🙏❤️
A really nice space and lovely staff.
Had asparagus for starter (actually it's a side on the menu) which was delicious and perfectly cooked.
Trout with risotto (special) for main - also very nice but I think the fish was sliiiiiightly over, probably would have been better if it were done whole but h
Visited Aug 2021 with friends for a wedding anniversary meal for my wife and I. Fantastic old pub in a good location and the food was excellent. Highly recommend!!
You could easily drive by and miss this hidden gem. Stopped for a bite to eat and drink today. Warm welcome, all staff warm, friendly and made you the experience very relaxed.
Food was first class, will definitely be back.
Well done team Dreel.
Had a lovely meal here. The only disappointment was the lobster tacos. Very little lobster in there for the price. It tasted good but it was mostly lettuce! But ignoring that everything else we had was great. we had the onion bahji, steak, linguini, banana tarte tatin and rhubarb crumble. 😋
Lovely old pub, very welcoming and cosy. Serves a great pint of Murphy's too. Didn't eat there on this occasion but seems to be popular and was taking a lot of bookings when we were there.
Really nice place. Had my lunch here. A soup and a sandwich and my fave, sticky pudding. All great. I've asked for still water and they brought a bottle with cucumbers which was lovely. Had to pay for my lunch 13.30£, had a coffee also and had the water for free. Next time I'll try the halloumi dish
Went here for dinner with our 2 dogs. Nice atmosphere with friendly staff. Food was excellent. I couldn't turn down the opportunity to try their Cullen Skink, offered as large or small portions. We don't usually have a starter but I was having one my wife asked if she could have a small soup. They u
Cosy intimate atmosphere and food was amazing. Flavours were new and intriguing. Loved it all.
Had a lovely meal at the Dreel Tavern! The food was excellent - we had the langoustines and beef tacos to start, and the seafood sharing platter for main. Everything was delicious!
Had a family meal here. Food was excellent, staff very polite, attentive and helpful. We had a really enjoyable visit.
How a restaurant experience should be - we had a phenomenal night!
Because of the current situation, we were sitting outside in one of the specially made booths which was really cozy and a pleasant place to be. The food was amazing (don't leave unless you've tried the steak loaded fries with the sea
Absolutely great, very welcoming and accommodating. What a great experience after a 7 hour drive from the midlands. Menu simple but caters for all. Had the Serloin steak @ £32 but so worth it. Definitely on this visit will return to try another meal. Great job Dreel.

Lovely food, we were outside at the river, inside these beach hut things probably left over from lockdown, would not great to sit in, but if the weather isn't great they'll accommodate more people
