Recently moved to area from London where we had plenty of choices for takeaway’s. However The Big Fry is one of the best fish & chips takeaway I have experienced. Have used them several times and each time fish is fresh and well cooked with good portions of chips. Staff are young, always pleasant and very efficient.
Haddock was a good size. Chip portion for a large was on the small size. Taste food .
Great fish and chip shop. Good selection and quick service (even though it was cooked to order). Perfect chips and lovely firm cod in crispy batter.
Genuinely the best chip shop locally especially after trying many of the others. Being fairly local to the coast you would expect good chips and this place certainly delivers! Although be warned, the secrets out as it does get busy.

Just had the best takeaway from Big fry! Chips, savaloy and battered sausage were beyond perfect and also very well priced! Can't wait till out next takeaway night, Big Fry will be our first choice going forward!
Great fish and chips, come from Worthing town centre where l live,have tried a lot of places,but this is the top one for me,only go there now, excellent 👍
Good fish and chips, haddock always good and cooked fresh for us. Mushy peas and curry sauce a nice addition. Visit whenever we are in the area with our little grandson. Been refitted and is still very good, another good meal. Busy on Friday evening but service surprisingly quick. Enjoyed our Meal.

Excellent fish and chips! Glad the fish was wrapped separately from chips as the batter grease tends to soak the chips.
Shop is clean and modern.
Ordered a 1/4 cheese burger, chips and curry sauce; the chips were very good, right amount of salt. The curry sauce was definitely one of the better ones I've tried compared to other fish & chip places. The beef patty was a little on the dry side around the edges, the cheese was pretty pathetic, but overall tasted okay.
Very good fish and chips, get here early to avoid the queues! Well worth a visit. *** UPDATE *** four years later and this is still a brilliant chippy. They have also refitted, and staff are well trained and friendly. Would highly recommend!
The cod was spot on! The chips were a little soft by the time I got them home. But overall wonderful.
Would have had 5 stars of they did not forget my frankfurters.
Maybe next time eh!
