The team at the Black Lion are fantastic. The food is really good, the drinks are great and the atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. Whenever anyone visits we make sure to go and have dinner at least, but also for the scones. Best scones anywhere.

We held our daughter christening party here and it was perfect! Great communication beforehand with Annest and the most delicious spread yesterday! Everyone left full and happy. All freshly made sandwiches and cakes ans scones with cream and jam.

Fabulous brunch, the Vege breakfast was excellent, and I particularly enjoyed the experimental banana skin grilled with maple syrup. Sounds awful, tasted great. Service was great and it's a lovely stylish place to linger over food with friends.
