Loved the warmth of the bar area. Snowing outside so we had to sink a couple of pints. Friendly bar staff and no doubt we will return again. Thank you

Best pub, and as a bonus serving the best kept beer in Rhosneigr, and always a warm welcome to be had by staff and regulars.

Great atmosphere! Great beer! Great prices! Great Landlady! Not forgetting Huw the Landlord who takes almost as much stick as he deserves. :-D Give it a try. You'll be glad that you did.

Didn't know quite what to expect. We were early for our table and the bar was small and busy with lots of people watching the game. It wasn't a relaxing or enjoyable start to dinner. We were, however, seated on time and from then on everything was excellent. The food was spot on for everyone at our table and the staff and service were great. I will be eating there again as soon as I can although I'll probably head elsewhere for a drink beforehand.

While I'm giving 5 stars there are a few points that I need to share. The Y Glan Neigr is not your typical Indian restaurant. It is what I would call a local pub, first and foremost. The first thing to greet us was a bar full of people enjoying a few drinks in front of the TV, watching the match. We were shown to our table in front of the window, which to my mind, the best place to be and the only table not in view of a TV. I know that it all sounds negative, so far, but it really wasn't. The atmosphere was loud, but friendly and While not what some may want of a restaurant, we found it to be fun. Now... the 5 star rating. The food and service were absolutely spot on. I have to say that the food was amazing. Hot and freshly cooked. The nan bread was straight out of the oven and perfect... not burnt, like many I have had in the past. It's a pity that they don't offer take away as an option as we would use that service more, but we both look forward to coming back and making this our go to Indian restaurant.

First time eating at The Sarisa Kitchen at Y Glan- Neigr,, Rhosneigr, Isle of Anglesey. We only live 6 miles away and have been meaning to try out for ages. Absolutely delicious food, great prices, very affordable drinks from the bar. Will definitely be going again! Friendly staff. A very relaxed environment. The dining area is next to the bar. There was football on the TV in the dining area. It was turned off once the game was over. The food was better than great and next time we go, I will just make sure there's no football game on.

First class Indian restaurant in a pub. The rugby was on the TV but that didn't detract from the excellent food. I'll definitely be back. The staff were friendly and the portion sizes were perfect.

It's in a pub, which confused us at first, but once we got in the room was nice and we were treated well by the staff. The food is very nice, quite authentic given the location, we enjoyed it very much. Not overly expensive either. l'd go again and recommend it.

Really enjoyed our Indian take away, especially the vegetable sides and the lamb bhuna which was melt in the mouth. I avoided the chicken tikka masala because it said it was made with coconut, but the butter chicken was also too sweet and coconutty, I don't know why India places in Britain make it like that, but I know plenty do. Just avoid both of those if you are looking for something more authentic.

A bit of a strange location initially but once found this place is a hidden gem with delicious food and ample portions. We only went to the Indian Kitchen and did not stay at the hotel.

A large group of us went on Saturday night. The restaurant was very busy but this did not impact on the service or the quality of the food. I would definitely go again if I visit the area again

I'd drive right back down to Anglesey just to go here for a curry. It's that good and the Stella Artois on draught is a thing of beauty. Very competitively priced too.

Had a meal tonight in the Sarisa Kitchen. Excellent! We had Fish Karahi (fresh and very tasty) and Lamb Balti (wonderful slow cooked and melted in the mouth!). Ice cold Stella to wash it down, excellent service, great atmosphere. Great value. Would definitely recommend.

Good food at a reasonable price. Service good and friendly staff. Only downside is that you cannot reserve a table.

After getting completely soaked by the storm, I dried out in front of their cosy, warm fire whilst rehydrating with their reasonably priced beverages. Later, I had an extremely nice curry, expecting it to be a microwave re-heat. I was pleasantly surprised that it was not and more like that from an authentic Indian Restaurant. Also, my dish was customised with green chopped chillies. 10 out of 10! Last but not least, the staff were extremely nice and friendly. They allowed me to charge my Powerbank, as I was camping. It's a shame I wasn't staying there too. Unfortunately, I had to retire to a soaking wet tent in the storm and left Rhosneigr promptly the next morning. That issue aside, I will always remember my great time at Y Glan-Neigr & Sarisa Indian! Well recommended!
