My favourite place for a meal or just a sneaky drink. Gorgeous lamb Sunday roast today and the billionaire shortcake with strawberries and cream is just delicious. All staff friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend.

Another fantastic evening meal out last night. Menai Bridge has so many fine places to eat and the Liverpool Arms is right at the top amongst them. A real Jewel in our local crown. Started with the scallops & black pudding followed by the tuna steak, it’s not simply pub grub, it’s delicious food done extremely well. Excellent service with courteous staff always on hand to ensure the experienced is top notch. But guys, you really need to sort out the gents toilets, they let you down often. Walking in you’re hit with the aroma of wee! Standing in a puddle of suspect liquid to reach the urinal owing to the uneven floor is not pleasant. Wiping my shoes on the carpet in the main bar to clean them of suspect liquid not really pleasant either. Still worth 5 stars, I’ll just try not to wee in future.

Visited on July 9th, as a family of three. The place was almost full but we were found a table and despite being busy, service was polite and prompt. The portions were huge for all three meals. Food was excellent quality and well presented. There is a wide choice and it's good value for money. We often visit the area and this is now on our list of venues to return to.

The Liverpool Arms was excellent. Excellent food, well kept beers, atmosphere and friendly locals. We had a two course meal. We opted for the steak which was cooked exactly right, well presented and good value. My wife found the pre-seasoned chips too salty for her taste. Apart from that everything was spot on. We will definitely call in here again next time we're passing through Bangor. Apparently, there is a lovely promenade walk nearby that the locals suggested we try next time. The only difficulty is finding parking space on the road. None of the pubs seem to have parking facilities.

If I could give more than 5 stars, I absolutely would! We visited this evening from Stoke as a family, and made a last minute reservation. First time here and I can honestly say the best food, I have ever had. I had the pork belly special and it was cooked to perfection and so tasty! Followed by a a baileys & oreo brownie - WOW. Portion sizes are generous and the waiting staff were so lovely! Specifically Aaron who was our waiter for the evening - such an attentive, friendly bloke, he engaged with our children and couldnt of done anymore for us. Great atmosphere, and cosy interior. Will deffinatley be coming back next time were here! Thanks so much for a great evening.

Went here for a meal with my partner this evening, and having worked here myself a few years ago, I know that the owners have exceptionally high standards in everyone's they do, but still, this evenings meal blew us away. We are not vegetarian, but myself and my partner both ordered the mushroom stroganoff, served with chips and rice, and garlic ciabatta. We regularly eat out, but this meal, for what is essentially a very simple dish, was spectacular. The service was attentive without being overbearing, and the staff were absolutely on the top of their game. We ordered 2 meals and 2 drinks, and the bill came to about £45, which for Menai Bridge, is very good, given the standard of everything, staff, service, atmosphere etc. This venue really is one of Menai Bridges' gems, which is well worth the visit, and every penny of it. I wish Bob, Carys and all the staff the best going forward, and we look forward to our next visit, which will certainly not be too long in the future.

This pub was our second choice as the one that was recommended didn't feel right. And we are glad we chose this one. Four of us ate there and the prices were reasonable. My partner strongly recommends the mushroom stroganoff. And I can recommend the livvy burger.

First visit to the Liverpool Arms. Friendly atmosphere and staff. 7 diners (4 adults and 3 children) all very happy with their meals of Livvy Burger, Steak Pie, Vegetarian Sausage and Vegetarian Lasagne. Nice Flintshire Ale on draft.

We stopped by Liverpool Arm on the way back to our hotel and foods are delicious. Would recommend if you are foodies like me. Teriyaki salmon and Goan fish curry were our dinner.

There's a special deal on at the moment on Wednesdays. There's a main course on at half price. I had a really nice fish and chips. It changes every couple of weeks this week was chicken curry with rice and chips for £8.00. Really good value. Plus excellent service. There's also a new deal when you buy a Malt Whisky, if you want a double they don't double the price it's a single price plus £2. Again excellent value and a good range of Whisky

Honestly one of the best meals out I've had! We went here last Saturday, booked fairly last minute and were pleasantly surprised. The staff were absolutely lovely, and were able to advise us well on drinks, and the food was incredible. They have quite a large menu (with lots of veggie options, which was great), but the food is still to an impressively high standard. Portion sizes were decent, and I really can't state enough how nice the food was! A decent range of teas and coffees at good prices as well. Thanks again for a great meal, and we will definitely be returning next time we are in Anglesey.

Best meal of our holiday! The cauliflower starter, mushroom stroganoff and vegetarian sausages and mash were delicious. We had the chocolate cheesecake from the Specials for dessert and it was amazing! The waitress and waiter were really friendly and welcoming. Would highly recommend and you can have a lovely walk down to the Menai bridge before/afterwards.

Traditional pub grub, but well presented, large portions and delicious. Caters to all allergies and intolerances and they are clearly noted on the menu. Would definitely return as the food was delicious and excellent value for money.

Best meal of the holiday so far! Portion sizes are pretty huge though so definitely think about that when ordering. But every plate we ordered was made perfectly and exactly what we wanted. The staff were really friendly and helpful, they all seemed like they enjoyed their work and were happy to help and chat to us. Definitely the best atmosphere we've been in for a while. Dog friendly outside only but they have a covered area so that's no issue!
