Really enjoyed my visit here. The food food was simple but lovely, mostly sandwiches/burgers. Seating is outdoors on picnic tables. There is a pub with indoor/outdoor seating just next to the cafe. Restrooms are available at the pub. We started our hike from here. The full trail is about 9 miles around a point of land with the bay on one side and the Atlantic on the other. Be prepared to travel some narrow back roads to get here, however.
Splashed out on the famous crab roll and was not disappointed. Was absolutely delicious.
We sat outside and it had a wonderful atmosphere.
Was worried it would no longer feel like a food van being surged from a pub but absolutely does. Loved going to collect the food when it’s done and not being waited to tables - had a great atmosphere.
We stopped here for lunch which was so good. The food came really quickly and was excellent, in particular, the fries with kelpchup was so good we had to buy a bottle to take home with us. I also had the oysters which were very fresh.
Fabulous food in a great location. Holiday vibes and sunshine. Street food with a top class twist! We had the fish butty - gorgeous sea bass in suberb bread bun; crab sandwich - too rich for my son, but that's just an opinion, and two burgers, which according to one member of the family was the top burger he's ever eaten, and he's eaten a few!
A great recommendation from one of the Outer Reef instructors- thanks Jack!
Have just been to old point house as a family of 5 it can be hard at times to accommodate us and please my 3 boys but everyone left happy . The food was amazing from the children menu up to the lobster roll if we didn't live 6hours drive away we would be back every week
Excellent chips and wonderful sauces.
Very glad I visited. Have been foraging seaweed for many years. Lovely to try the dishes here. The lobster roll is intriguing and good but that beautiful taste I associate with local lobster is drowned out. I still enjoyed everything I ordered.
Take the time to find a place to park, as this spot is worthwhile. We didn’t quite splash out on the lobster roll, but the crab roll was delicious. Portion sizes were heaps generous. Find yourself a seat with the lovely view to demolish this food!
We were in Pembroke and Cafe Mor was on my to do list. The Classic burger with Kelpchup was literally the best burger I’ve had. Succulent and very tasty. Staff were friendly, They have now moved to the old point house in Angle which is something of a dusty trek. Looking at the bigger picture (as this seems to be a recent move) think it will be awesome. If I was asked for any suggestions going forward it would be more prudent to number the tables and possibly have a couple of waitresses take out the food. Rather than shouting peoples names out to come fetch. Also whoever is responsible for the approach to the old point house could do with doing some maintenance on the track surface as a couple of nasty potholes. Sat navs also can have issues finding it. Finally if you like seafood and burgers. Then this is well worth the effort and a visit.
What a great find, a lovely little place for a spot of lunch and a cheeky beer.
Possibly some of the best chips I’ve ever had, with a side order of bacon butty, highly recommended.
PS, don’t be put off by the name, the seaweed ketchup is very, very tasty.
The best gourmet burger and chip's ever, I would highly recommend this place. Loads of seafood choices. Great views of Angle estuary and a bonus of being in the garden of the Old Point House.
A lovely burger and fantastic beach. Cafe Mor has a really cool vibe to it. It is situated in the car park with surfers, walkers and beach goers all queuing for freshly made food. We opted for the mor burger which was really nice. I would have liked the lobster burger but felt at £18.50, I couldn't justify it. I am sure it would be delicious if you did take the plunge. We got our burger and then headed to the beach which was stunning. Lots of surfers, dogs and people all collectively doing their thing while we sat took in the sun and enjoyed our burger...perfect
Phipps' tips... dogs are allowed on the beach, they do accept card, the car park is free although does get full, there is a decent corona prevention system in place as it is outdoors with plenty of space, take your food to the beach, harry potter was filmed on the beach, great for surfers but....you can never guarantee the weather.
What a place —. Beautiful spot with brilliant food —. this is cafe cuisine at its best - the very best egg and bacon roll you will ever eat. Mandy is a person who does not take her customers for granted. Just what you need at the end of a walk in this beautiful spot!
Fresh food at a good price. As well as their routine favourites they do fresh variations based on what they can buy. We had a Mullet special which was a large fillet with all their usual trimmings for £5.50 - you'd pay £15 for that easily in a restaurant. Cooked fresh to order was ready in 10 mins. Great food and highly recommended.
So... we popped back late Sept 2019... had a cracking Sea Bass roll with all the usual trimmings which was still great value at £7.50 each. This time as it was a bit chillier we also had the hot chocolate with their speciality rum... highly recommended.
Food continues to be great... whenever we are in the area we will pop by to walk the dog and then grab a great lunch (or breakfast if we're early enough).
Amazing beef burger and bun. We sat outside with a dog, service from inside the building rather than the boat. Follow signs to The Old Point House.
Probably the best chips I've ever had! The burger was good too with the seaweed ketchup. Wow

Heard great reviews about this place and had the bean burger. Maybe my expectations were to high and was not as tasty as expected. The brownie dessert was excellent though.
