Had a lovely baked potato with Welsh cheddar cheese and ham for lunch. Very tasty and came with 3 sides; couscous, crisps and coleslaw.
Lovely view of West Angle Bay from the cafe. I had read the cafe was dog friendly but only outside, unless it is an assisted dog. Very friendly staff and exceedingly prompt with serving drinks and food, very efficient even when busy.
What can I say, my sister brings her dog here to the beach beside Wavecrest. I visited a few weeks ago Angle, was over for the weekend.
We dropped into the Wavecrest for a latte and some ginger cake....wow, the ginger cake is delicious, they gave me 2 generous slices. We returned for seconds the next day and had the carrot cake this time.
Lovely little place, my brother in law has some of his wooden artwork available to buy there. One off designs. Check them out when you drop in for some home made cakes... 5 stars
We were walk-ins, not expecting such a classy/foodie establishment for a beach cafe. However we managed to get an indoor table on this very windy day. The staff were incredibly helpful & friendly. The wait for food was 20mins (which seemed very reasonable given the circumstances), our drinks were brought immediately. We had a children’s lunch box, and two “specials” the crab sandwiches and the Mediterranean veg platter. All beautifully presented. We all cleared our plates/box. Very satisfied. Delighted. Cafe has great views and atmosphere and excellent food.
