Lovely cafe opposite church where Norman wisdom buried. Lovely food and staff
We happened to be passing and popped in for a late lunch. It was perfect. We arrived with three other random parties, so we were concerned it might take a while for our order to arrive, but by the time we’d drunk half a glass of wine, dinner was served. We had the lamb goulash and a burger and chips
Best walnut coffee cake I've ever had! A little pricey, but what isn't these days? The afternoon tea is lovely. :)
Oh my gosh, I’ve been wanting to try this place for ages and it was excellent! The steak was so tasty and the portion was huge. I also hadn’t realised that it was licensed or we would have dropped the car off at the guesthouse first! We’ll definitely be back. Such a cosy setting too.
Lovely food, not cheap but very tasty, like home cooked. If you park in the lower car park, the toilets is not the cafe. Head up the steps :)
1st class Good menu selection Home made chips are fantastic
We each had afternoon tea, well I had coffee. The best egg sambos, lovely fresh cream, HUGE scones, slice of fresh cake. Tasty, charming and good value after tramping looking for information about deceased relatives in the church yard. Btw we were outside TT and GP times so these rooms are great al
