Called into the Plough at lunchtime today for a bite to eat with my wife. We both ordered the beef burger and fries with coleslaw. What can I say, it was the best burger I had ever tasted, juicy, well seasoned and bursting with flavour. The skin on fries were crispy and very tasty and the coleslaw rounded off the meal nicely. We will most certainly return in the future - lovely meal, lovely atmosphere and lovely staff. Thank you.

Lovely pub in a quiet village location. Warm welcome, with happy smiling faces from all the staff. I must say, they were all attentive and nothing was too much trouble. We each had a two course meal with drinks. The three of us had the same AMAZING main course - Gammon, Egg, Pineapple & Chips with a side of Garden peas each. Honestly, it’s the best gammon I’ve eaten, it was decent size and thickness and just melted in the mouth! Highly recommend The Plough Inn.

Last Sunday we met up with family and were lucky enough to have booked a table at this little gem of a place. The manager Ray right from the moment we arrived was friendly and accommodating, the staff were so helpful nothing was too much trouble the food was absolutely delicious congratulations to the chef Billy. The pub/restaurant itself was comfortable and clean and the tables were a good distance apart from others, I don’t know anyone who likes to sit on top of strangers whilst eating. The ladies toilets were so clean and the little touches were lovely. Also it was lovely to have disabled access in the form of a ramp for wheelchair users. If there is anything I can say that I feel needed looking at would be to get some long life sugar free oat or almond milk so everyone who needs a dietary requirement can enjoy a latte at the end of their meal other than that we felt that this was one of the best pub restaurants we have ever been to and even though we live in Devon so 3 hours away we will be back, it’s the perfect meeting place to catch up with family who live the opposite end of the country. Thank you again Mike and Angie

Super friendly staff quickly showed us and our dog to a table, even though we didn't have a reservation. Service was prompt and friendly. We chose the Venison Burger and the Gammon Steak, which were perfect, although the specials were very tempting. We will definitely be going back, as we're moving to the area, and the overall experience was fantastic.

Visited today, a party of 5. Friendly and welcoming staff, lovely cozy atmosphere. We all had roast dinner and it was the best roast dinner I have eaten out in a restaurant, my lamb rump was cooked to perfection. Will definitely be returning.

I stayed in my camper, from the moment I arrived I was well looked after by Ray, had the most delicious rainbow trout. The whole experience was amazing, I wish I lived closer, as this place is a real gem.

Loverly place, welcoming, friendly. Nice selection of food and drinks available. Nice to see dogs being allowed in too. Only critisism is for the price of the meals, i would have expected more ! .. some onion rings, maybe with the steaks... an option of garden or mushy peas with the fish ... how about complimentary bread and butter while waiting for the food to be delivered ... just to justify the price ??

Lovely place to go for a meal. Staff are friendly and the service excellent. The best food I have eaten in a long time. All freshly cooked to perfection. My husband was very impressed by the bread and butter pudding! We will be returning here at every opportunity. I would give 10 stars if I could.

The community have done a great job refurbishing the pub, it looks great inside and out. Food was excellent (bookable online) - halloumi burger and. mushroom stroganoff. Trillionaire brownie also very good. A better variety of draft beers, especially pale or golden ales would enhance offering. Very friendly and attentive staff. Immaculate loos too. On way back to South coast and stopped over in our campervan. Large car park and right on the Test Way.

The food was excellent and even though we were a large group, the quality didn't suffer.
