Lovely country pub. Great food and excellent drinks selection. Pub room was very well decorated and characterful. External new-build rooms less characterful but more spacious and quiet with great bathroom. Good service. Highly recommended.

Brilliant staff, amazing food and relaxed, enjoyable atmosphere.
My partner and I ate here in early June, the staff were incredibly accommodating and we were made to feel like one of the locals immediately, the menu was explained to us and the favourites were made clear to us.

They had 9 guest ales and the Moving Mountain burger was possibly one of the best burgers I've tried in a very long time.
The scampi was lovely but the home made tartare sauce was just something else.

This pub has beautiful views of the river in the garden very relaxing. Would recommend booking if you want to dine here,as on Sunday if you hadn't booked they were not accepting walk-ins
