The John Russell Fox - Andover - Photo album

It's got a roof terrace, brilliant! What other spoons can boast that? The main pub down (many) stairs/the lift, is massive, compartmentalised on a few levels, so not to feel cavernous. A well kept place with a genteel vibe - considering it was a midweek evening, and it's a hotel. I'd stay here if ev
Really really good value for money. Stayed here for a night after picking up a loved one from pure cremation. Rooms were ample size and did the job for what we needed, staff were friendly and welcoming the whole time and nothing was too much trouble. I’ll try and attach photos of the room on this re
Great accommodation.... spacious family room, very new and clean. Quiet despite being above a busy bar. Fab shower. Tea and coffee facilities very good. Breakfast available in the pub, but didn't have that. Could have dinner on the pub downstairs (we brought it to our room)... nothing special. Sta
Rooms very reasonably priced, and very quiet despite the large pub beneath and above. Premier Inn standard of room, clean and consitent with free bottled water and biscuits etc. Pub has a rooftop terrace, nice addition for a spoons. Standard spoons environment in the bar. Could do with new carpe
Quite big pub, lots of seating. Toilets on 2nd floor accessible via a lift. App service was quick and staff were friendly. Good location next to George Yard car park and town centre.
Stopped in for a breakfast and left really happy. Food was great and it didn't cost an arm and a leg. The options available were good too, and it was nice to see how many options there are for smaller kids, seems like Wetherspoons is one of the only places to really make an effort to cater for kids
A Spoons is a Spoons wherever you go. In my experience anyway. I've never had an issue with the food here, and the staff are always fab. Great selection of drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, and the cocktails are right up my street. What more could you ask for from a Spoons?!
Great!! Visit occasionally for some pints. Cheap and cheerful. Only downside is if you use the app wait times can be huge and very sticky tables probably cleaned once a day.
Bang in the centre of Andover which is rather convenient. Great selection of well kept craft ales sold at exceptionally good prices. Download the Wetherspoons app to your phone and you can order your drinks and food from your table and thus avoid the queue at the bar.
I thoroughly recommend this place. My room was great value for money, staff were very pleasant and helpful and a great location. Also the car park at the back is very convenient.
There were some reviews saying the decor was dated, I think these were inaccurate, and not representative. This is the best Wetherspoons I have stayed in. The reviews about reception not being manned are right. I did put on booking my arrival time, and although I spoke to 3 staff members I still wai
Popped in for lunch on a Sunday lunchtime. Ordered food and drink on the app, and it was delivered to the table very quickly. Staff were very friendly. Nice atmosphere, and plenty of tables. As usual, food and drink is good value for money.
Friendly staff, great service and excellent food/drink. One of the best Wetherspoons I have visited.
Pub/restaurant with a large selection of affordable breakfasts and more. Good service, big portions, average prices. Liked it quite a lot.
Good location, the rooftop terrace is lovely. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The rooms are well appointed, but a little grubby.
