Really tasty food and great service, lovely pub and always enjoy visiting.
100% recommend the sausage and mash or the chicken and avocado salad. The burgers are great too!
Really enjoyed our meals. The waitress was brilliant, the food was fresh hot and served quickly. We didn't have to wait long it was really well run. The waitress had a great knowledge of the food and alcohol when asked. Cannot fault it. We will be back again it was such a great night. Booking online was really easy too. Thank you for such a nice evening there.
My experience at the Chalkhill Blue restaurant bar in Andover was quite delightful. As someone who has savored meals in diverse locales, this spot has its unique appeal. The ambiance is cozy, and the menu offers a good variety of dishes, from which I had a tasty meal.
I'm giving it 4 stars because while the food and atmosphere were commendable, I did feel that the service could have been a bit more attentive. However, it's a great option for a nice meal and a few drinks in Andover, and I would recommend giving it a try.
A warm welcome as we came in and we were immediately told about items not available on the menu. We had our orders taken promptly and the food was hot and absolutely delicious. The young lady working the tables was absolutely incredible, she didn't stop all evening and was constantly busy. She was engaging and very helpful, smiling and polite. We left feeling like Royalty. Absolute pleasure to eat there and I'll certainly be back. Thank you.
The meal was absolutely fantastic. The food was amazing and quite a big portion. Sadly too full to have a dessert, but if we have a chance to come back we'll definitely try and leave some space for it. Jake our waiter for the evening was very kind, and made the evening more enjoyable, thank you for a wonderful meal !

Lovely Pup , Food is great and very tasty, plentiful and after we ordered, waiting time was not to long, we had the Chicken/Tikka and the goatcheese lasagne, second day my husband had a Steak and the Hunters Chicken for me. Both delicious. Staff was friendly and helpful, the Pup was clean and looked great. We'll worth a visit, price'es are just right, so all in all....go and try it out yourself....outside plenty of parking, Electric charger parking places, lovely outside eating area, too. A good all rounder!
Very welcoming and attentive staff (I don’t often leave tips but I did this time). Food was excellent and arrived promptly even though it was busy. Nice atmosphere - not too loud, nice temperature and cosy. Good value for money (we got a healthy discount code and there is a military discount
Second visit for me even though I live an hours journey away. Had a great burger with bacon and cheese. Very tasty. Had a non alcoholic gin which I shall not be repeating. Would go back.
Service was faultless,restaurant is comfortable nicely decorated and can accommodate bigger parties of people.
4 of us ordered stake,but only 1 of us ate it,was very gristly and tough, the rest of the food burgers sausage n mash etc were very good.
Won't stop us coming back just order something else.

Easy booking on line and very accommodating when I called to add another person to our table. Staff were attentive without being pushy. Food was great and everyone enjoyed their choices. A lovely bonus for me is that my gorgeous little dog was also welcome.
Service was professional. Our server Tracey was polite and friendly. The food was good. I had steak and my Husband has gammon. Tracey advised my to try an egg with my steak. It was amazing. The only concern was my Husband said the apple and cherry crumble was large for one person. However he eat it all!!!
I was in a party of 4 and we all had different meals. We had only been waiting for about 10 minutes before the food was served. Everyone complimented about the food they had and it was piping hot.

Lovely pub, friendly staff & great food. Under new management/chefs & you can most definitely see the difference in the meals & taste, brilliant turnaround. The manager Dan really takes pride in making sure you enjoy your visit. Our son absolutely loves the play park there too.
Great food and a good price. The restaurant was busy but the atmosphere wasn't too loud. Had a lovely meal and it was easy to order from the app or the bar. Service was good and everyone was really friendly. Would definitely recommend
We booked a table and weren't disappointed. We overheard the staff talking about how they were understaffed but this didn't stop service! I ordered from the NGCI menu and the waitress (Suzie I think) was very good about asking if it was an allergy/intolerance and what my needs were. Starters were great and the mains, after a little wait (we were happy chatting) were even better. I had the GF ham hock, which was huge. Fresh veg and potatoes piled but hidden on the other side of the pic. Beautifully cooked, amazing portions and were happy to provide a box when I couldn't finish it all 😊

I'm passing through Andover, now for the second time, and without a doubt the best restaurant I've been to here. Today, without a doubt, they surprised me and unexpectedly with the discount they made my night even happier. My congratulations. I didn't want to forget to mention the girl whose name I don't know, she provided excellent service, always with a smile on her face and in fact she made the difference on the two occasions I went to dinner at your restaurant. This brunette girl with a nose ring is, in fact, a person who would be very happy to talk. My congratulations for all your service, friendliness and professionalism. 5 stars.
Great place. The staff are lovely, service great, food good too. Reasonably priced. Good atmosphere. Good range of options eg vegan and kids menu. I wasn't in love with the vegan burger, but I think that is just personal preference. Sweet potato fries and onion rings tasty. Husband's lasagne was very good and kids enjoyed their meals.
Very good pub grub at a fairly decent price. I found the staff to be attentive and considerate, being helpful and friendly while we decided what to order. It was relatively quiet while there, but that wasn't a bad thing really. All in all a positive experience.
