Lovely local pub, bar staff/waiters are always friendly, welcoming and attentive. Food is always good value for money and today I have to say presentation was spot on! Looked and tasted great. Well done team for all round great service.
Went to try out the new menu this evening with my family! Wow! Taste 10/10, presentation 10/10, service 11/10. Such lovely ,attentive, friendly staff! They really went out their way to make our visit as best as they could! From the long table in the corner! ⭐️
Had a fantastic Sunday roast dinner today! It was served on lovely warm plates, with loads of food! The staff were so lovely and accommodating.
Great food and service. Good value.
The pub is nicely decorated and feels pretty cosy.
If i could change anything it would be to decorate the toilet facilities, which look pretty tatty compared to the rest of the pub.

This has been my local for 30 years, popped in for an impromptu meal with my wife. Service was very attentive and Dodd was fab. A well managed pub.
Last minute visit to sink a nice cold beer, after a hard days grafting. The food was great, the beer was cold and the service was friendly. We ended up staying for the quiz night, finished last and went home feeling happy.
Went down to the pub yesterday with my friend, I had the fish and chips and she had the chicken burger. Great food very tasty, great staff would recommend definitely coming back soon.
I visited recently for a birthday meal, all the staff were welcoming and helpful and warned us before hand there may be a wait for food. We ordered and paid easily via the app and the food was presented beautifully and tasted even better!
It;s a great little local pub(even tho is part of greene king chain), I've been there 3 times so far and like it. Amazing service with lovely staff, food is quite good for price and beer nice and chill. The atmosphere is great and unique.
Excellent meal I had the 8oz rump stake and the Mrs had the chicken snd pulled ham pie. Well it was out of this world.. even when they were very buzzy. Will go again and the photo was taken just after it was put on the table and it didn't last long enough to take a pic.
Couldn't wish for a better local pub. Have always had very good service, good food, and love the MacMillian Coffee Morning once a month. Keep up the good work. 🍽🍷☕️🍰
