Both my partner and I were at a loose end on a Sunday evening and decided to try a restaurant we haven't been to before in Andover. We were very pleased to have found such a well presented and thought out restaurant - and pleasantly surprised such a place exists in our town! The service was warm and attentive, just enough conversation to feel engaged and just enough distance to give us our space. Not being familiar with Nepalese food we found the menu to be well presented and thoughtful for new comers. The food itself was impressive. The kitchen put a lot of thought into presentation as well as delivering quality. Our waitress gave us charming examples of food she liked according to how she grew up around Nepalese food which was a nice touch. We can't wait to come back.

Very warm environment. The service was very welcoming and friendly. Above all, the food was very delicious. I am Nepalese myself and must say the food the environment and the the services are one of the best of all the Nepalese restaurant that i have been to .... and i have been to lots of resturant. Love it. Definately recommended. Well done.

The staff were very welcoming, though not over-eager. The food was out of this world.....I even sacrificed beer space so I could eat more. Top notch night, highly recommended

Just had a takeaway from here, never usually write anything but wow. Had Nepalese chow mein, gurkha chicken curry ( which they put an extra kick in for me) rice and pork moo moos. Everything was delicious. Only problem, wish there was more. Oh and the staff were nice and welcoming.

An absolute hidden gem in Andover. Easily one of (if not) my favourite place to get food. Delicious and very well priced. Staff are really helpful and friendly and if you're just passing by instead of taking away you can seat at a table and eat. If you haven't tried it there you definitely should!

Went in for a quick lunch, lunchboxes are a good portion size and a great selection of food. I recommend the chicken chill and spring rolls especially with some Sriracha sauce. Fast service and will definitely be back again.

Absolutely wonderful. Popped in for a casual Saturday lunch - you can order off the full menu and there are some tables downstairs where you can eat your food. Lots of variety on the menu, with meaty and veggie options. Staff were very friendly and food was delicious, especially the momo platter. Will definitely be back!! Didn't take any photos of our food because I was greedy and starving and dug in immediately before thinking to take a pic for this review.

Tama Chulo does filling lunch boxes. It is a paired down version of their evening meals. It is very filling. If you are a vegetarian then you can find something to eat. The rest of the menu is chicken based but its a filling meal with a drink and well worth the money spent. If you are in a wheel chair its on the ground floor so you can wheel in and you can sit at seats in the restaurant. It was a Christmas treat and i loved it.

Brilliant food and friendly staff, yes a bit on the pricey side but for the amount of food you get can't complain!

Fancied trying something new so went with this place and I have no regrets! Will be ordering again because it was delicious! Andover is a sleepy town and I was bored with pizza/kebabs etc., this was an extremely welcome change. YUM.

Superb ambience, typical taste of eastern n western part of Nepalese cuisine, loved the presentation of platters. If u say let's go n have a look, i would say don't; just run for it. Sunday will b the best time for u to have a lovely time as other days it'll be totally packed unless u have an early booking. Located between the alleys of Poundland and Ladbrokes or if u go back of the Ladbrokes it's just at the side of it. Tama chulo: only by the name it gives u that authentic feeling and charmness of Nepalese dishes.

Nice little place. Ordered from the main menu (Pork Curry, steamed rice and Chicken Dumplings) food was cooked fresh and was delicious. Portion size of the curry was a bit small. But food was great all in all. Some of my friends Ordered boxed meals which also looked good.

Best Nepalese takeaway in Andover. Great authentic Nepalese food. Portion size is very generous and food quality never fails. Price is reasonable too and staff (there is always this female staff at the food counter) very friendly, smiley and efficient. I miss the sitting area upstairs though. They were so cosy yet spacious and charming.
