One weekend in June we turned up for breakfast. We sat outside in the sun with a number of other customers and some beautiful dogs. We were quickly handed a menu and chose cooked breakfast and tea. The 3 of us all had different breakfasts. My breakfast, bacon and egg sandwich, was delicious, a beautiful fresh egg and a tasty slice of bacon with brown rustic bread. Highly recommend.
We holiday near Tenby a lot and always head to Amroth first. We have tried quite a few cafes and none can better Pirate Cafe for the breakfasts, main meals, fish and chips, cream tea with warm scone and the best tea in Wales. Everything we have tried has been lovely, staff are very helpful. We go nearly everyday when we are here.
We go here quite regular for our brekky or coffee n cake. It's a lovely place looking out catching the waves. The staff are really brilliant. Friendly and enjoy a little banter with me. The food is always superb. Give it a go you will NOT regret it.
Loved this place, beautiful view cracking food and they allow dogs inside.
Amazing view of a lovely rainbow tonight at Pirate Cafe Amroth whilst eating the most delicious pizzas ever! Love this place
Nice place had a cream tea nice and well priced
Beautiful position and very friendly staff
Lovely food excellent service and a table with a view ❤️
Always enjoy a visit here. Very clean, friendly, good food and what a view. Thank you.
Lovely location and the vegetable cawl was delicious
A beautiful place to visit, sit and chill with a bite to eat and a latte. They have a selection of food, drinks, ice-creams and of course cakes lol. We'll definitely be stopping off here again very soon.
What a great place. Friendly staff, great atmosphere, delicious cake, and embarrassingly indulgent hot chocolate (which my daughters loved). I highly recommend the carrot cake! We will be back again to sample all of the aforementioned before we leave Pembrokeshire.
Brilliant cafe overlooking the sea at Amroth, wonderful full English breakfast, very pleasant staff and quick service. Would recommend.
Fab little cafe right across from the beach, food was fresh, hot and beautiful. Salt and pepper squid bites where divine! Service was fantastic. Will definitely be returning!
Great place to visit. Nice beach. Good breakfast and great icecream. Would recommend
Super little Cafe with outside seating, excellent food and coffee all at reasonable prices with a lovely sea view, What's not to like
A lovely lunch here today the quality of the food is excellent and the staff really friendly . We will be back it’s dog friendly too .
A nice choice of menu especially fish and chips we had a good time with food. This pirate shop has beach shop and ice cream shop by side of restaurant. Well maintained and rush all the time. You have to wait for your order 😃 I personally liked place and the people there maintaining the shops. I recommend “The Pirate “ have a good time and food at “The pirate”
We stopped for Coffee and ice cream , Sunday morning 1-10-23, got back to car, front tyre flat, tipping down rain, Gentleman from cafe came out ,fitted up compressor and pumped up tyre, what a hero, can’t thank him enough, ps coffee and ice cream excellent.
Having spent a lovely week in Amroth we decided, on our last morning to have a breakfast at the Pirates café, before heading home. I had the Pirates breakfast and my wife had the smaller version. Both were excellent and were served quickly by cheerful staff.
The café is also dog friendly!
A lovely end to a super week.
Thank you.
Lovely place super friendly gave treats and fresh water to all doggie visitors lovely lady & staff
We were on the beach and wanted some chips - it was one of those "Anything will do" kind of moments. So we got some chips from the Pirate Cafe. We were delighted to find the chips were really (really) good. Like "ahm nom nom nom" kind of good. I cant speak to the rest of the menu, but the chips are top notch.
Brilliant cooked breakfast, very happy and polite, helpful staff.
Would recommend the coffee too.
Will return.
Great independent cafe on the seafront. Dog friendly, good choice of things to eat and drink and friendly staff.
Nice friendly staff with very fast food service. The fish and chips we had came out in about 5 mins. The food was well cooked and the fish good quality. It wasn't too oily as far as deep fried food goes! The benches on the beach were excellent so you could sit and eat about 20 metres from the waves.
In case the owner reads this: you really should make it more obvious you serve food! If I hadn't found you on here prior to visiting, I would easily have walked past and assumed you were only a gift and beachwares shop, and gone to the pub down the street instead!
Didn't eat here. But the staff and owner were very helpful and knowledgeable of the area. With directions advice and where to camp. And refilled my water for my journey. So thank you. 🤙
Fantastic fish n chips, plus all food is delicious and fresh.
You can currently sit on benches on the beach opposite the Pirate to eat and take in the sea views.
Great breakfast on our last day in South Wales, we were staying in Saundersfoot down the road but Amroth is only about a 5 min drive. Breakfasts were made quickly and all really nice not greasy at all, staff were very lovely. We will definately visit here again when we are on south Wales.
Fantastic food and Ice-cream to die for very pleasant and friendly staff will definitely be going back soon
