I had some good times many years ago about 1975, used to meet up with some of the lads that could not drink at the other pubs in town. Ha Ha, a clever landlord in those days, no trouble and always plenty drinking at the bar including me. Happy days, I miss them
Sunday dinner was lovely, would have preferred some proper mashed swede but everything else was so tasty, the outside has been done so well, but it would be nice if they could have a little play area for kiddies. But this place has a lovely atmosphere, staff were welcoming. Definitely will have food
Just been up for Sunday lunch. Absolutely outstanding 👏 plenty of choice. Meat thickly cut and plenty of it. Choice of vegetables great loved the home made cauliflower cheese, home made stuffing and topped with proper gravey. Well wwprt a visit you would not be disappointed

Popped in for a late one Saturday and there was a great band on covering rock classics. Got to love good beer and live music
Nice friendly pub .Nothing posh just great home made food .very friendly staff good value for your money .Nothing is to much trouble for the staff .if you want a good old fashioned meal that fills you up well worth a visit .
We took the family out for a meal last night to the coopers and everyone commented on how amazing the food was , the service was quick and friendly would highly recommend.
