Pluma consistently delivers excellent tapas - good variety of dishes, all cooked really well, tasty and authentic. The cocktails are incredibly good and nice wine selection. Fish of the day is always a hit. Great options to meat eaters and veggies too. Service is friendly and attentive, nice buzzy atmosphere and a lovely outdoor area to eat on a sunny day.
Highly recommend the crystal bread - it’s delicious.
It is quite expensive but worth it for an occasion. The desserts are not as good as the savoury options - they look spectacular but a little underwhelming flavour wise.
This is one of my favourite restaurants.
The food is amazing and the staff are so friendly and attentive.
Our waitress Vanessa was kind enough to recommend a white wine and the recommendation was perfect! Our other waiter, Alistair is friendly, knowledgeable, passionate and attentive. Well done all 👏
Can’t praise this place enough.
We wanted to celebrate 25 years of marriage. We finished work late and ventured to old Amersham at 9pm and were looking for a restaurant that would serve food that time on weekday . And what a find ! We had Pluma acorn fed roast pork with potatas bravas which were.both outstanding !! The churos were heavenly - crispy , light with flecks of salt and served with a warm dipping chocolate sauce . Out waitress Anais was excellent as she recommended the dishes and also the rest of the staf
The croquettes and patas bravas were fantastic! Definitely worth coming to for some great Spanish food in the area.
Spanish tapas at its best! Just wow... service was 5 stars; very friendly and chatty. The food was amazing, one of the best tasting tapas I've had, and I lived in Spain for 9 years. Lots of dishes to choose from, and some great Spanish beers that you can not get elsewhere. Presentation of the food was spot on, and you could taste the freshness. Perfect portion sizes, as people often forget its tapas, not a full plate of food! Interior is very nice and modern, and the Spanish music in the background was the perfect accompaniment. Will definitely be going back and would 100% recommend it! Muchas Gracias.
Brilliant Spanish restaurant.
The food is tasty through a great mix of excellent ingredient and beutiful preparation.
You wish you could pick all available items on the menu.
Always a great time spent there.
Couldn't fault them if I tried!
Had a wonderful authentic spanish lunch at Pluma yesterday. Beautiful place, the food was on point and the service was superb.
I happen to mention to the waiter that I'm craving ice as I'm heavily pregnant, he took it upon himself to make sure I always had a glass full of ice available, he must've come back 3/4 times, and I didn't even ask! So attentive! Thank you :)
Everyone was very friendly and there was a wonderful atmosphere. Food was 10/10. Would recommend and we will definitely be back!
Ps. Toilets were were also nice, clean and smelled really good which is a plus!
Will be back to try some more. Very impressed with the calamari and the pork. Amazing flavours. Staff were great. They left a little happy birthday box of chocolates. Bit on the pricey side, but it is Amersham.
It was quite difficult to get a table, but only because demand is high, and with good reason! If the website says no bookings available, make sure to ring them up, as they were able to find a table for us.
We were sat promptly at our table and the service was fast. The servers are lovely people and always happy to help with questions. This is a tapas restaurant, so we asked how many dishes are recommended. They said about two per person, and the dishes come out in no particular order when they are ready.
We ordered six dishes: cheese and spinach croquettes; baby squid; Padron peppers; Pluma pork (the signature dish); braised chorizo; and octopus leg with dauphinoise potatoes. All of the dishes came out quickly, and all were absolutely delicious. The pork was tender and covered in some marvelous marinade, the peppers had a lovely charred flavour, the chorizo was rich, the croquettes melt in your mouth, the squid was done with a tasty aioli sauce, and the octopus was really tender with a lovely flavour.
For dessert, I ordered some churros. They are deep-fried strips of dough, dusted in sugar and served with a hot chocolate dip. They were very nice and compensated for my latte, which was a little bitter.
To drink, I also had a strawberry cocktail of some kind, which was lovely.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this restaurant. The food was delicious and the service was fast, although the seats were a little uncomfortable. But with a Spanish feast in-front of me, I barely noticed!
Excellent taste of Spain right in the heart of Amersham! Warm welcoming hospitality from management & staff alike. A classy but cosy interior decor. Every morsel from starters to mains & desserts was an explosion of flavours. Celebrate your special occasion here or even just head out on a weeknight for a dinner treat - what a delightful find! Would highly recommend!
