Lovely place and staff, very friendly, reasonably priced. Good selection of beers on tap and a good selection of food. Lots of vegan options for my family. Definitely be coming back on our next holiday, looking forward to it. Recommended 👍
We really enjoyed our meal here. The burgers were fantastic and came with really tasty fries, whilst the kids pizzas were excellent. Our son likes pizza but not with cheese on and they accomadated this no problem as they are all freshly made.

Fabulous service! Took me and my husband as a walk in with no issues. Seated and served us within minutes! Attentive team, very polite and welcoming. Great brewed on site lagers and ales! Fast service!
From outside, the tap yard looks like it's got a great vibe. When you walk in, you know you've chosen the correct place.

Visited here on a weekend visit to the Lakes. Ambleside has some places to eat and the Tap Yard is one of them.

We were looking for a relaxed place to grab a decent quality pizza, and this venue delivered!! Massive wood-fired pizza oven inside, tables outside in the sun, staff were all very friendly. Grab a free table, order at the bar. We ordered and within 5-10 minutes the food was with us. Very good amount
Food is so good, was a busy night but as we had booked a table, that was ready well before our time. Food came out as quick as expected and tasted amazing. Partner loved the choice of tap beers. So good all round. :)
