Lovely good quality cakes and pastries as well as hot pasties and sausage rolls. Definitely recommend a visit
Really great pasty's! Would recommend, plenty of options to choose from!
I will always give a 5 star rating where it's due. Hello home of beautiful food. This little shop was our saviour. Me and my wife had tried a couple of other places for a hot breakfast that had broken our hearts that morning, 26th March '23.
By the time my wife spotted this little bakery, I just wanted to drive back to Manchester on an empty stomach and buy kfc.
My wife went and told the cashier that we just wanted hot food, to which the young lady reassured is their pasties were definitely served hot.
We took the risk and ordered one beef and Chipotle pasty to try. Our drinks were made with hot milk and the pasty was hot and yummy. We ordered another one and enjoyed our eat in. We had the opportunity to meet the boss, who was proud of her product and her work. Whe asked if we could buy 6 more frozen cornish pasties to take home for the kids and she obliged and even gave us the directions to oven bake them.
We are ok paying a premium price for a quality product. Thank you so much for mending our broken hearts that day
Had a really good experience in the pouring rain. Good quality food, cheese pasty was very tasty.
Most importantly incredibly friendly staff - Sunday 19-12-23 there were two girls working one with red hair and with blond hair - sorry for the inane description but they were so helpful and thoughtful.
I operate a business like this in another part of the country - you are lucky to employ them, please give them feedback.
Can’t believe the revolting members of the public who leave 1 star because this place doesn’t take cash - get out in the real world - go to Scandinavia where you would starve - nowhere takes cash there.
Scrumptious food and always service with a smile. The team are always incredibly friendly and efficient.
This time we sat in to enjoy a steak and Stilton, and a cheesy leak and ham. Absolutely delicious. It isn't our first time here and won't be our last. Fantastic team and food!
It's ALWAYS busy which says it all. There's also plenty of awards on display which is nice to see!
On a horrible very rainy day in the Lakes, the vegan pasty and two free seats inside the window won the day. Ordered two vegan vegetable pasties and two decaf teas with oat milk and it was just the ticket. The pasties were delicious, piping hot and perfect with a cuppa. Would definitely revisit
Fresh and tasty, the smell of the delicious pastries can make one resist anything but temptation. Tried a few things from cheese scone, croissant to coffee and Natas. Couldn’t recommend this enough!
Excellent customer service. Friendly staff with great local knowledge. Oat lattes were delicious and the raspberry croissant was lovely too. Thank you! 😌☕💕
Amazing bakery. Once you enter the shop, you cannot resist the smell temptation.
Everything is so fresh and yummy.
This breakfasts will make my days in Lake District
Staff are really friendly and happy to help with anything, big shout out to katy who helped me with some dietary issues.
Food is amazing but the coffee was poor. Grabbed some food and a coffee before jumping on the bus, can’t fault the food it’s delicious. However the coffee I received was simply a cup full of frothy milk, in reality it was half a cup, disappointing as I didn’t find out until I was travelling and couldn’t return. Food good drinks unfortunately poor from my experience.
Popped in for a takeaway brew and sausage roll. They do a chai tea latte - rare outside of starbucks and my absolute fave (listed as hot chocolate - which caused some confusion). The sausage rolls were to die for. 2 brew and 2 sausage rolls £12.30 which i thought was really good value for Ambleside! The woman on the counter was lovely. Only draw back was card only. Cash is king!!
Popped in with my lads for some pasties and what turned out to be the nicest coffee I’ve had in ages. The traditional pasty is delicious. Just what you need on a cold winter day.
Stopped by for a quick portuguese tart and coffee. Both were delicious and the staff were very friendly!
Amazing pasties and the best tortilla ever! Would be nice if they had some more seats
Received great service from a girl working there with Pink Hair, think she said her name was Emma? Should deffo give her a pay raise
Popped in late to grab a very very late lunch after a long days travel. I had a spicy Cauliflower and chickpea pasty which was delicious! The OH had the traditional Cornish which he said tasted good but you didn't get much meat in it. Dog friendly as well which was nice.
