Table of 5, turned up without a booking and were accommodated without a problem. Lovely restaurant, very attentive staff. Great range of menu options, noting this is a vegetarian restaurant.

Lovely fresh and tasty food! Really nice to have such a good selection of dishes for 3 vegetarian travellers visiting the Lake District! The staff were friendly and efficient, and the toilets and restaurant were very clean. Would definitely visit again!

Italian cafe and bar, but the special thing about this is that they have cinema screening as well, not only that they have live jazz music too. The location and ambience was just perfect, in heart to city and just near road cross with amazing view. We ordered two pasta, pizzas and coffee. Recommendation- Coponata pasta, coffee and rainforest pizza. Would definitely recommend to go.

Maciej and Ned were amazing tonight. We had a lovely meal up in the Jazz Bar. We shared a mezze platter and had a pasta dish each. As always, the most gorgeous food and venue. Such a special evening

Great vegan food, the chilli was outstanding, and it was wonderful to be given brown rice. My omnivore husband loved his meal and didn't even notice it was an entirely vegetarian/vegan menu! We also had the barbecued fennel starter (lovely) and 2 great puddings. Highly recommended.

Gorgeous restaurant, amazing food, well positioned in lovely Ambleside. Would recommend taking a pre dinner cocktail on roof terrace followed by the dinner and movie combo. Staff and customer care from enquiry to experience exceptional!

We loved this indie cinema. Lovely venue, big screen and traditional red velvet seats. Popcorn and alcoholic/ soft drinks available to buy at the bar. Be warned, the film starts just five mins after the advertised start, so don't be late!

Nice coffee and nice cake, only small negative is they have a lovely little balcony to sit on, which you can see from outside and to be fair was the only reason we went in in the first place but we were told we couldn't sit there; it's not open. It's a shame as it would have been 5 star had we been able to experience the coffee shop as it was intended

Not realising this was a vegetarian restaurant I was pleasantly surprised, I opted for the spaghetti bolognese, seeing it was lentils instead of meat I was unsure if I’d like it but the flavour was unreal, I also had garlic bread which is the nicest I’ve had. The staff were really pleasant and the restaurant itself is stunning, would definitely go again.

5stars all round. Never knew vegetarian food could taste this good... Because it never has, in all my 58 years. Highly recommend the 4 cheeses pizza. If all vege food tasted this good, I'd join the tree huggers tomorrow.

Great experience. Pre-booked a table which was available upon arrival. Attentive staff made us feel valuable guests. Menu choice was great, (despite lack of meat options, yes I'm an omnivore!). Meal was delicious, beautifully presented and decent portion. Birthday surprise from staff made it even more special. Recommend booking as very popular. Can't wait to return.

Ok in general. Good place for my partner who's a gluten free veggie. Plenty of choice for her seeing as there's no meat on anything but that's their USP. Service was excellent and the pizza's were tasty although not very hot. Almost like they'd been sat on the pass for a while? Prices were fair given the location etc etc.

Fabulous vegetarian restaurant with options for vegan and gluten free. Lovely atmosphere and the team working there are great. Recommend booking a table. There's also the option to have a meal and watch a movie. The poached pear and ginger sticky toffee pudding, and the chocolate and almanac souffle cake are both incredible dessert options!

Delicious Vegetarian restaurant. In the heart of the lakes, the centre of Ambleside is this gem. It couple a fabulous restaurant offering friendly service, fabulous food and to cap it all jazz or a cinema for a full evening of entertainment. It’s a busy place so worth booking but service is always good. The pizzas are very good as are other mains, I loved the veggie chilly. Deserts are classic, the Tiramisu is my firm favourite but others would argue for the sticky toffee pudding or banoffee pie. Well worth a visit.
