Hmmmmm.... I came here many years ago and had such an amazing Chicken Curry; alas it’s nothing like that anymore, change of Chef I fear... still... not a bad experience at all. Pretty standard Chinese food (unlike my visit many years ago). Like all take aways it’s “incredibly overpriced”

Our third time in Ambleside and our third takeaway from Lucky Dragon. Superb as always. Placed order by phone, ready on time when I arrived to collect. Delicious food. Reasonable pricing. Strongly recommend stir fry pork with ginger and pineapple. We'll be back.
Best take away around. Always plenty of veg in dishes. Worth driving to.
I ordered a couple of portions of salt and pepper chips here and they were great. Very generous portions and the chips were nice and crispy with lots of flavor. Will definitely call in here again. Please note that they only accept cash, so come prepared.
Had two takeaways so far in my 7 days stay just across the road at the brilliant thorneyfield guest house B+B .Best take away ever. B+B/ Take away combi go well together. Well done both

Everytime we go to the lake District, we come here guaranteed. One of the best Chinese takeaways about. On the one way street in Windermere, guy on counter dead friendly and welcoming. Been here today. Was bang on👍 special fried rice is up there.
Good food, balanced out but prices are Pretty steep.
The food tastes good with a balance of flavours. I will visit again but the prices are my main concern, we bought 2 mains with 2 egg fried rice and it was £18.
Anyway it’s good food and I recommend having dinner from here.
Tried this place as staying round the corner and thought I would get an average Chinese takeaway. Boy was I wrong! The food was delicious!! Wow. The food is great. Crispy chilli beef is my favourite. But honestly all the food I have tried is great. Don't get a greasy kebab. Get food from here
Highly recommend this place, well cooked, good quality food. I ordered special green pepper and black bean sauce, and chips rice and curry. Very tasty, would order again. Totally agree with the review that said 'could be the best Chinese I've had'!
Amazing! Popped in just before closing and the staff were lovely, didn’t mind that we had to run out for cash. Really helpful and gave us cutlery so we could eat at our camp too. Great prices as well. Recommend!
Gorgeous food. Freshly cooked and very tasty. Best Chinese we had in Ambleside and Windermere and Bowness on Windermere!!! Excellent value, good staff and well worth having! Very highly recommended!
