Visited the area on holiday with the dog and decided to stop here. Dogs are welcome in the bar. There is a separate restaurant part. Staff were friendly enough, and other customers also had a chat. We ordered a good amount of food off the menu, which was a very good quality better than I genuinely thought it would be. All washed down with a nice pint of Guinness. There are a few places to eat near there but honestly the food was great and a reasonable price, we will visit again I'd we are ever in the area.

Came here with friends as we'd been a couple of months ago... Walked in on a Sunday about half 3 and were lucky enough to get a table.. 3 of us had beef baguettes with Yorkshire pudding and roast potatoes and gravy for 10.99 each and one of us had a small sirloin beef dinner.. One of the best meals have had in a long time and we're very large baguettes with loads of roast potatoes each.... I would describe the small beef dinner as a very large portion anywhere else.. Superb meals and will definitely visit again... Staff were very attentive and helpful as well... Great pub with a great atmosphere 5🌟

Quite a nice dog friendly pub. Friendly staff. Good food. With portions sizes that are very generous. A good range of beers at a reasonable price. It's located a short walk from the harbour. We visited on a bank holiday weekend so it was very busy.

Went a few times for a drink and ended our holiday with a family evening meal. All good. Enjoyed the Harbour beers (Amber and Gold). Good pub grub. Recent new ownership so not got many reviews which is a pity. Located near to the Harbour (obviously!) so very convenient.

Beautiful pub just past the harbour. Very welcoming and very cosy within. Nautical themed decor pieces inside with lights in the window boxes. Nice leather booths to sit in. Staff were fantastic beth and abbie served us really pleasant girls whom gave us lots of local info too. Really enjoyable evening.

Visiting from Canada with my British family, we had been out for the day and we were looking for an evening meal, literally by chance we pulled into a parking spot and saw The Harbour Inn. They fit all 7 of us in and thank God they did! Food was brilliant and the staff are really great. We loved it so much that we booked for another night, food & staff were just as good the 2nd time. Prices are more than reasonable for meal size and quality. I would advise booking ahead if possible as it is a busy spot!

Was slightly tricky to find due to sat nav not picking up a one way system, but got there in the end! Food was nice and what you would expect from pub grub. Bar area is lovely and welcomes dogs in the bar area. (we had 3 with us). Service was great and we didn't have a long wait to order or receive our food. We booked for the Tuesday evening but there were tables free so imagine you could walk in and get a table without booking. They also have a restaurant area but I didn't see that.

Harbour Inn Amble Likely Punch tied lease Outstandingly good pub food Broad menu. Vegan and non meat options have been thought about, are appetising and interesting One of the best burgers I've had anywhere. Beats 5 Guys hands down. Service is informal on the ball, friendly and personable, they know their menu Beer line up is disappointingly unadventurous - ergo Punched Good wine list - ergo not tied on wines Altogether great value making headway in the very foggy market

Lovely friendly bar staff are the main feature of this really nice pub. Situated right on the Harbour road as the name suggests. If you want eat there it is advisable to book in advance. We made the mistake of not booking and probably missed out on a nice dinner. We stayed in Amble for a week and visited the Harbour Inn three times, once in the evening and twice in the afternoon. On a sunny day there is a nice enclosed beer garden at the rear of the pub.

Great pub right on the harbour, tricky parking but had to go in car as weather was atrocious. Heavy rain. Food was very good, however you will have to book. Personally i think meals are slightly overpriced not so noticeable with mains. Very noticeable with dessert, ginger pudding and custard (small jug) served on a plate. Just shy of 7 pounds, increase the size by 12% and serve in a bowl, job done.

We were visiting Amble for the day. Stumbled across the Harbour lnn. Looked at the menu, then went inside. It was cosy, staff very friendly and food was amazing. The tomato soup was the most delicious soup that l've tasted. The mac cheese was fab too.

A nice environment. Dog friendly in the bar - and seems to be well known for it. Tasty food and a good selection of local beer, rum and even a local whisky. Prices are fair for the area.

I had dinner with my family this evening at the Harbour Inn, myself and my four year old are ceoliac and the staff couldn't have been more accommodating. The gluten free choices on the menu are excellent. I had the pork belly and my daughter had the shepherds pie, both tasted amazing! I had the harbour mess for dessert - highly recommended. All the ingredients were fresh and good quality. This was the best pub food I've tasted in a while. If it was closer to home I'd be a regular!
