Another brilliant little find for an equally brilliant little town. Took a wander through the harbour on a morning stroll and happened across Mocha Mondo and picked up a delicious flat white. As well as takeaway coffee, the pod was also full of a vast array of coffee products, both ground and whole beans. Definitely worth a gander if you’re around Amble harbour.

Best coffee in Amble, great selection of coffee, welcoming staff and service. Always visit the Pod at Amble Harbour side Quay on our visits to Northumberland

We popped in on a cool morning in November while waiting to pick up a boat. I had a Mocha (espresso, chocolate, frothed milk - if I remember correctly) sprinkled with chocolate. My crew had a Macchiato (same thing without the chocolate). Both short as the boat had no heads (loo). Good chat to the lady serving about the different coffee types and about Mocha Mondo's roasting premises nearby. We sat at the tables and chairs in the sunshine. Delightful! Give it a try.

Great tasting coffee, I had a flat white which was excellent, far better than most of the mainstream coffee shops.

I lived in Vietnam for most of the past two decades and just fell in love with coffee in a place where I could easily buy beans grown on a nearby mountain. It broke my heart to leave. I'm always going to have a Hanoi-sized void but Mocha Mondo are more than filling the coffee hole that was left. I think they're brilliant. Order their beans, they are immense. I'm like a kid at Christmas every time another MM delivery arrives and they keep supplying more and more options.

We came across this coffee shop on a short break last September before the 2nd lockdown. We sat in the harbour and drank a cup off their wonderful coffee. So much so we purchased some to bring home. We didn’t open it for a while but once we had it was soon gone. We ordered some online and this was delivered promptly, with a surprise free sample of some new coffee Highly recommended and wonderful cup of coffee

Happened upon this little coffee shop while on holiday in Northumbria. Bought a 70g taster pack to try at home. One of the nicest coffees I have tasted. Will definitely be ordering more online.

Very tasty, well priced and friendly service to boot. The hot chocolate was also highly appreciated by the (controversial) non coffee drinker in the group!

Absolutely top-notch coffee. Visited this place on 2 consecutive days having visited the market and been on a boat ride and both times had 2 of the best coffees I’ve ever had (and i drink a lot of coffee!)

Had a coffee this morning. The best flavour I have ever had. Been lucky enough to have travelled europe a lot where they take coffee a lot more serious than here in the UK. After having the coffee went back to buy some for home and got details for internet deliveries which he now does.
