Great place, people were superb and I agree, it was a penalty, but the ref never gave it. We will be back next year and maybe we will see a var decision.... superb fun and so friendly

Fantastic local pub with great local real ale - 4 cask - 3 kegs - 3 usual suspects. Cheese boards et all. Great local banter.

Great pub and story. Knowledgable bar staff and some great local beers on. Cask outnumbered Keg, as expected, but there was still the local IPA and a magnificent coffee porter on the kegs. Lots of bar games on the tables, totally dog friendly and a great place to have a few pints. Oh. And if that wasnt enough... you can order a cheese selection of local lovlies. Just brilliant...

What a great little bar this was. Stopped for a couple of hours on a dreary wet afternoon. Barman and locals very friendly and a truly great selection of ales. My wife and mother in law felt at home here too in what is a great ale pub. Will definitelreturn.

Met my daughter's father in law for a few beers. Excellent beer and great atmosphere. This is true local and we were made welcome. Will return here when next in area.

Nice little micropub with seating inside and out overlooking the square. We grabbed a seat outside for a quick pint and were greeted by a friendly host who was knowledgeable about the beers on offer. There's lots of local cheeses available for a cheeseboard too (maybe next time we visit)!

Great little micro with good beer selection. Cheap too - bitter £3.20/pint when I was there just before New Year.

Fantastic pub, great selection of hand pulled real ale, very friendly & welcoming bar staff, dog friendly and the prices - 3 pints for a tenner! That will do me nicely.

Great little pub, recently opened in what was the town's tourist office. Amble is a friendly and lively fishing port, and the Cock and Bull, situated in the town square by the harbour, echoes these qualities. A good range of locally brewed cask ales and a wide gin selection are served by really friendly and efficient staff. Dogs are made very welcome too. A real little gem of a place.
