Despite it being a busy and cold May Bank Holiday, the staff were attentative, and there were heating facilities for the outdoor seating. The fish and squid were fresh and nicely made, but the pricey was quote steep.

We had a superb meal here. Tempura soft shell crab was my highlight. The fish was fresh. Views wonderful and the staff friendly. My only complaint is that the rock bass Thai curry possibly needed a little more sauce.
A delicious lunch, the freshest seafood, scallops and langostines served with a hefty scattering of chilli which suited us.
Wouldn’t hesitate to go back for dinner or another lunch if in the area.

After visiting Warkworth Castle, we were hungry and The Old Boathouse certainly provided! The staff were lovely and helpful and the seafood itself was excellent! Great setting by the harbour, it was quite busy and that says great things about it! Definitely recommend you try it if you're in the area
The food portions were big, the ingredients were fresh and tasted great. I really enjoyed the dinner. The waitress was first class. I am sad I will not be back for another meal as I will be leaving England tomorrow. I would really love to return.
