About a year back we went there randomly whilst visiting the town and had a lovely winter soup and tea with very kind service. I bought a bag of tea to take home. Some months later when it ran out I ordered a few more bags on the website on a Saturday afternoon.
First class tea Room, with delicious food and really personal service. The tea selection is outstanding, and all high quality stuff. It is prepared properly, and the owner takes great care to ensure you enjoy the experience. The soup and scones were delicious too. Highly recommended.
The tea and cake were excellent in the cafe. But slightly disappointed with the loose leaf tea we bought to take away. Even with a very fine mesh tea strainer you get sediment in your tea. Needs to be brewed using one of the filter bags they sell, but we weren't told that at the time.
