We booked the skittle alley for a family get together. A fabulous night, fun, good food and lots of catching up done. Highly recommended 👌

A very good clean establishment if your in the area. I can't comment on food. A boozer that isn't in the heart of a village that's full of folks before 12.30 speaks for itself.
After visiting national trust site popped in for a bite to eat. Sunday roast was lovely and was great sitting out in the sun. Only picked the place as loved the name because reminded me of late mother in law as run over a squirrel.
Will definitely come back again.

The pub is a lovely building. Very cool inside on a hot day. It also has a car park and beer garden with a children's play area so family friendly.
