Having not lived in Altrincham for 20 years, I didn’t really know where to start with arranging a baby shower for my childhood best friend, but from the moment I spoke to Leeanne I knew it was going to be perfect. She went out of her way to help me organise the perfect afternoon tea from 100 miles away, responding to messages at all hours, taking in deliveries of decorations & games & catering for all our individual dietary requirements & preferences.
All the food was delicious & the attention to detail was amazing, including the beautiful favours made by Leeanne’s mum.
We all thoroughly enjoyed every minute. Thank you!! Anyone looking for a venue for a babyshower, hen do or special birthday party will not find a better place or host I guarantee.
I came for a brunch this afternoon. The food was absolutely fantastic. Best part about it was the black pudding in the breakfast. Leanne was lovely and made sure our time here was pleasant. I’m pleased to say that I will be visiting this place more often. I highly recommend to anyone in the local area. Get down and support your local businesses.
On a trip from NI and found this gem on Google. Definitely worth more than 5 stars!! Afternoon tea was delicious, Leeanne was so friendly! Would highly recommend and definitely return if/when back in Altrincham! Go, you won't be disappointed. Food was so fresh and place is spotless!

The Vintage Tea Rooms has great customer service, both ladies were so attentive and welcoming - not something that you get very often anymore!
They do gluten free, with lots of cake and sandwich options. Leanne mentioned there was so many alternatives she could provide. I would definitely recommend this for anyone visiting Altrincham. They do offer afternoon tea if wanted which I will definitely do at some point! Thank you
It is a very lovely tea room in the heart of a buzzling town. Leeanne is very kind and thoughtful, especially to our little ones. We went for the afternoon tea and it was fabulous! She even served some crisps and brought over some toys so that the little ones can enjoy themselves too. Will definitely go back to try more of their hot food in the menu in the future. Xx
Splendid addition to Altrincham town city. Excellent choice of food on offer and caters extremely well for a variety of different dietary requirements- including a great gluten free range! All staff are absolutely lovely and welcoming- such a wonderful place to visit. Highly recommend to visit!
I was taking my granddaughter out for the day and she wanted to try an afternoon tea. I messaged Leeanne who kindly arranged a children's afternoon tea for her - she asked me her name so when we arrived she greeted her by name! She was shocked and then saw a little blackboard on the table with her name on - the afternoon tea was gorgeous and my granddaughter enjoyed it all but most of all enjoyed the friendliness of this place and can't wait to go back. This place is a little gem with the friendliest staff around. Definitely recommend and we will return. Thank you all sooooo much, made a little girl very happy!!

We popped if for two full English breakfasts and it hit the spot! Super friendly staff who gave us some amazing recommendations and were generally lovely to chat with. Will definitely be back, especially since the cakes looked scrumptious!
