Brilliant place for little ones; lots of outdoor activities to keep toddlers entertained and larger inflatable attractions for older children. Parking is free and the food on site is excellent. Staff were friendly, approachable and knowledgeable. We visited around Halloween to pick pumpkins with my 3 year old. All round great place, in beautiful surroundings worth a visit !
Went here for pumpkin picking. Staff were friendly and helpful. Nice tea rooms and play area for the kids and a stones throw from Dunham Massey. Saw a couple of pigs but that was about it for animals
Fantastic place especially when the maize maze is in opperation isnt too expsensive either for food and drinks. The tea room serves lovely fresh produce all locally sourced then the farm shop sells local produce from eggs, home made pies and sausage rolls, made on the farm condiments like tomato ketchup and peri peri sauce. The farm has a play area which is open to public and free to use then in the summer when maize maze is on there is a seperate area where u have to pay Β£27 for a family of 4 which includes maize maze, pedel karts, tractor rides, bouncy castles and frisbe target throwing.
Great day out for the kids, big sandpit and some climbing areas and slides swings.
Loved the climbing wall and the tractor ride.
Great free play area for kids. Sausage barm is stunning, service a little slow but it's worth it for the great food
The outside area is great and the are things to suit children of all ages. A large sandpit, too. There's a couple of things that require money so be prepared to be nagged! The toilets could be better, but the cafe is great and staff are always very helpful and the prices are reasonable. Child friendly. Great for pumpkin picking in autumn.
Great place for families. Few toys in a corner to play with.
Service can be a bit off but it's important to remember it's a social enterprise and those working there are there for experience and training.
Food is simple but does the job and reasonably priced.
Nice coffees and hot chocolates.
Always pop in when visiting.
Nice cafe and farm shop. Lots of activities for children.
We visited for a child's laser tag birthday party. My son had a fantastic time while the rest of the family grabbed some food at the cafe.
There was a sand pit and climbing frames to play on for free, or you could pay an entry fee to go on the bouncy castle, climbing wall or enter the maize maze. Would definitely recommend for a sunny day out.
I've visited Red House Farm a few times now and held my son's birthday party here today. The staff couldn't be more helpful or friendly. The food is delicious and obviously freshly made. The cakes are the best! It's just a really relaxed place with lots to do for children of all ages.
Fantastic, fantastic, fantastic. We had an amazing time. Lots to do and see. Johnny is amazing, nothing is any trouble for him. Well done team. We will go again definitely. Hot and cold drinks, food etc. Even if it rains there is cover and other things to do. ππππππππ
It was our first time at Red House farm we decided to go to the Halloween event for the pumpkin picking. Our little boy is only 21 months old but is very much into Halloween and he simply loved it here! It was free to visit and to park up there was also a mini park for the children which was great. Id say the prices in the tea Room were very reasonable considering the upper class area, we had a couple of coffees and a couple of freshly made slices of cake. We will definitely be returning here and hope to have lunch next time.
It is our second time here. Children love it. We came 30 minutes before it closed and the staff were lovely we did not feel rushed. There is a lovely play area for the children and the cafe sell delicious treats reasonably priced.
Lovely place, not far from Dunham Massey. Plenty of free parking. Nice play area for children, with sand pit, tractors, diggers, swings etc. All next too a field full of sheep which are nice to watch while passing the time. Shop has lots of local treats and meals. Scones are amazing!
Great time with my grandchildren 8 and 6 year olds. Hard to get them off climbing wall and sandpit plus lots more. Good food in restaurant at reasonable prices. Spent 5 hours!! Highly recommend
A great place to come either for a trip out with the kids (plenty of play equipment, a great cafΓ©), for seasonal activities (such as pumpkin picking or the maize maze), and for kids' birthday parties. They absolutely love the trailer rides behind the tractor and the staff are lovely. Thoroughly recommended.
Went for the maize maze and it was really good. Our 4 year old had a great time, I'm not sure that it would be such a great place out of maze season as there wouldn't be a lot there for younger kids. Good summer break day out as Dunham Massey is just round the corner too.
