Held a wake here recently. The staff were wonderful. So friendly. Food was great and pub clean and welcoming. Would definitely go again and recommend to all. The only thing I woukd say is that they need to sweep the pavement outside the pub. It let's it down. Give it a try. You'll be pleasantly surp

Called in 04/09/23 and was very pleasantly surprised. Had a snack which was delicious and a couple of hand pulled pints of Blonde bitter which was fab! I will definitely go again & overall 5*****'s from me!

Really nice old school friendly pub full of quirky characters and lots of playful banter between all the punters meals were plentiful tasty and reasonably priced ,had a couple of nice cask ales 🍺

First time visiting the old packet . Staff were so friendly, served us at our table, food was delicious and was served realy quickly. Lovley atmosphere, very clean and tidy, will definitely go again.

Great little traditional pub, landlord is great and so are the regulars, local to my place of work so we go in there a lot 😁

Only two cask ales on when I visited. This seems to be a good pub for Guinness, judging by the number of people drinking it. My pint of a Yorkshire brew was top notch.

Great pub! The food was homemade and the portion was large! The staff were first rate and couldnt do enough for us. Will definitely be going back!
