Honest crust is the best pizza I have tasted in the UK. I don't really want to say that, because the queues will just get longer!! As someone who is regularly in Italy, I can confirm the excellent quality of this pizza. Anyone who has a gluten intolerance, should try it, as I can eat it, and it's fine. I believe the long fermentation time is much easier on the gut. Market House can get exceptionally busy thoughBut well worth a visit

Had both vegan pizzas from honest crust in mackie mayor last night. I honestly can’t tell you how flavoursome and amazing they were. Me and my mrs don’t get to go out often and you really made our night. The lemon rocket pizza killed it for me! Just goes to show that with a great base and pizza sauce, cheese isn’t needed. Thanks for not using crappy coconut cheese and just taking the time to be a little more creative than mixed vegetables. They were the kind of pizzas that I will never forget. Defo be back soon. Very soon! Cheers

Just had the smoked pig's cheek pizza. Wow. Even more delicious than the pistachio one I had last time....and I didn't think that was possible. Some of the nicest pizza available outside Naples. Many thanks!

Fennel sausage pizza my favourite, but all are so fresh, oven to table in a minute. Perfect with some ale from Dave at Jack in the box.

I went for lunch today with my friends and baby in the pram. I am coeliac so have to eat gluten free. All the burgers are gluten free and there is the option of a gluten free bun. I had the honest burger and fries it was lovely. Service was great. Staff were knowledgeable about gluten free options. Atmosphere very nice. Would definitely go back.

Honest Crust seriously raised the benchmark for quality pizzas when they hit the scene with their mobile wood-fired oven a couple of years ago. They became regulars at markets such as Altrincham's and there was always a queue of customers waiting hungrily for their wares. Fast forward to today and though there have been a few new pizza makers setting up their stalls in markets, at festivals and in bricks-and-mortar venues across Greater Manchester, they are still held in the highest regard. More so for the fact they have a permanent site inside Altrincham Market House which has itself won awards for being a fantastic food destination. Their blue mosaic tiled pizza oven (shipped over from Italy) is a thing of beauty and sits proudly producing probably several hundred doughy masterpieces each week. Their thin, beautifully charred sough dour pizzas are available in a regularly changing range of options, though they are probably better-known for their Atomica which includes 'Nduja, (a hot, spreadable sausage). The city centre, once devoid of seriously decent pizza, now has the likes of PLY, Rudy's, and other restaurants upping their game; Honest Crust are, for me, the real trailblazers and have to be eaten at repeatedly.

My first encounter with Honest Crust was little over a year ago at the first bout of Friday Food Fight and I have been a very big fan ever since. I love their pizzas, made on a sourdough base and using the best quality and fresh Italian ingredients, they are cooked in less than 90 seconds in their wood-fired oven and taste incredible. On this occasion I shared an Honest Crust pizza with Neil C. who was as equally impressed with the pizza as I was. We went for a pretty classic pizza - Portobello mushrooms, garlic oil, tomato and mozzarella. It was served on a wooden board, straight out of the oven and was divine! They have around 8 pizzas on their menu to choose from, including some rather amazing specials. Notably the smoked pig cheek, red onion, fennel seed, tomato, chilli, pecorino and mozzarella pizza.. Yes! pig cheeks on a pizza! No wonder i like these guys,

Whats not to like about Honest Crust? They serve amazing pizza which has been 'wood fired' in a proper pizza oven... The toppings are always excellent quality and taste fresh. The prices are also reasonable for the quality of food which you get. It is often a place I will visit when in Altrincham. However, if you arrive at a busy time then be prepared to wait up to 25 minutes for your pizza....I suppose this shows how good they are. I am still yet to try the indoor honest crust in the market hall as I have always prepared the outside food stalls of the market but I will eventually get round to trying it out and see if its as good...Thumbs up from me

We sloped in at 3 pm for lunch to a very busy indoor seating area.after 10 mins managed to bag two corner seats as we had kai our 'ginger prince, sharpei with us ( The market It is a dog friendly venue.) We ordered a margerita pizza , as it was a 40 minute wait my partner went to little window n and ordered huevos roto (chorizo, eggs n potatoes n onions) spicy little geezer n tasty.pizza arrived very fresh and Tasty if slightly doughy as undercooked hence 4 stars. Probably due to heavy footfall.

Put simply - the best pizza in the Greater Manchester area. This is now my normal Sunday lunch, the Neapolitan especially is a thing of beauty

Honest Crust are a great street style pizza stall with a permanent home at Altrincham Market but they do occasionally pop up at other Manchester events such as the recent International Festival. They make wood fire pizzas to order and only use the best ingredients. The pizza base is so soft and fluffy definitely one of the best I have tasted and really authentic. They offer around 5 different pizzas with interesting toppings. The only reason I haven't given Honest Crust 5 stars is that sometimes they sell out of pizza. Get to the market early so you don't miss out.

Went for the first time today, and was recommended the 'roasted squash and harissa' pizza, made by Ross and the team. It was literally the best pizza I have ever had. I would highly recommend it. Hopefully it will end up a permanent addition to the menu!

Based in Altrincham Market. Been many times and always enjoyo Honest Crust pizzas. This time we shared the Atomica. Spicy n'duja, mozzarella, tomatoes & basil. Always freshly prepared on the best sourdough. Woodfired pizza oven, producing the tastiest crust!

Pizza from @honestcrustsourdoughpizza 7/10 Thoughts 💭 We started with a pizza from @honestcrustsourdoughpizza which was nice and the dough was wonderfully seasoned giving that delicious taste, although it was slightly undercooked. How good are the pizzas? Right up there with Double 00 in Chorlton (but not with the wider range; BYOB or Gluten Free options) or Proove in Didsbury (Again, with a wider range, better parking and the ability to reserve a table - pizzas at Proove don't take an hour to deliver). Let's dispense with the pizzas and focus on the positive points. The space is lovely, the location central (for Altrincham) and has a variety of eclectic food outlets akin to a Hipster food court. There's small alcove for toddlers that's well provisioned with soft toys and books. The downside is that your table is liable to get pinched by someone else unless you can provide a 'towel on the deck chair' so to speak. Prices are upmarket, but not exorbitantly so. If it's pizza you're after then don't forget that there are 2 ovens. One indoor and the other outside in the corner of the awnings.

By FAR the best vegan pizza I’ve ever eaten. These guys know the score! Their dough is soft, thin and chewy. Their marinara sauce is super sweet salty tomato heaven. And for the first time ever I didn’t miss cheese on my pizza! The fresh herbs, garlic and crazy buttery crust made for honestly the perfect vegan pizza. Their pricing is spot on and service was crazy quick. Go here for lunch! You won’t regret it!

Lovely tasty pizza, as authentic as they come. Really good base, full of flavour and unique. The mushroom pizza is the best I've ever had and the Save the Bees pizza comes highly recommended. Good spicy kick from the chilli honey. Can't wait to go again!

I visited Altrincham Market's for the first time a couple of weeks back and was blown away by the building and the selection of different eateries on offer. After hearing nothing but good things we settled upon Honest Crust and ordered a couple of Pizza's. I can hand on heart say they were the most delicious pizzas we have had outside of Italy, we will definitely be returning soon to sample some of the other flavours.

I am Italian, so hard to please when it comes to pizza. This was delicious! I hardly ever had a pizza this good outside Italy! It was light and tasty, not greasy at all. Sometimes badly made Neapolitan style pizza is hard to digest but this was great! Keep up the good work, I will visit again soon!

WOW!!!! Where has this place been all my life???? Hands down the best pizza I have ever tasted....and I've tasted a lot!!!! I opted for the breakfast pizza, topped with the finest quality ingredients including an egg! I am hungry just thinking about it. You can tell that so much thought has gone into the produce used here, it looks, smells and tastes amazing. I love the location too, the market has been transformed and the food hall is quirky, long wooden tables and benches, water on the table, great service and a great vibe. I just wish this was nearer home....or maybe not, I would have eaten so many!!!! 😃
