The salted caramel biscuit was the most delicious biscuit we've had! The team & Carl are friendly and very welcoming. Don't think I could have had a better time here at all 🥳
A really nice place for brunch/lunch. Relaxed, quiet, the food is amazing and they have a wide selection of options on the menu. I had the clean breakfast and it was delicious. Would love to go again.
Brunch was lovely and coffee great. I also had a millionaires shortcake slice however, it was a very oily/greasy biscuit base which was disappointing.
The atmosphere is lovely and i didn’t feel rushed, sat, read, ate, repeat.
Would recommend.

Stopped at this Cafe for a quick coffee and tea. Was a lonely experience. The cafe is very cute and cozy. The food looked very appealing. Cannot wait to come here again and enjoy a meal!

A small, gem of a cafe/restaurant near to the beating heart of Altrincham. Serving delicious and tasty artisan food from early morning to mid afternoons each and every day served by friendly, knowledgeable staff.
It’s a great place to stop off from your shopping trip, business lunch or to meet friends and have a “catch-up”. Just visit, chill, relax and watch the hustle and bustle of daily life pass you by whist sipping on the speciality coffee, hence the name and teas that are quite frankly second to none made by experienced baristas.
Very definitely worth a visit and once visited, it’s guaranteed you’ll return soon.
LOVE this place. Altrincham just keeps getting better and this place is exactly what it needed. Awesome coffee, super friendly staff, great for dogs and babies - loads of space! The pickles on the poached eggs are to die for!
Friendly staff, I enjoyed my coconut cortado and carrot cake. My non vegan counterpart had a queen victoria cake and a hot chocolate with extra cream. More vegan options please for lunches and cakes. Prices bit on the high side but kind of what you'd expect for Altrincham RE coffee and cake. I looked at the avocado toast but it was TOO expensive for what it is, couldn't justify the price even in Altrincham.
Great menu for breakfast, brunch, and lunch, all available at any time. I had the flaked salmon and asparagus on toast which was scrumptious! Nice coffee and staff and loads of lovely outdoor seating.
An absolutely lovely coffee shop. Came through the door to welcoming smiles and nothing was too much trouble. The coffee and cake were first class. The shop is in a perfect location and the space has been renovated beautifully. Can't wait to go back. Highly recommended to all coffee lovers out there. Good luck with this exciting venture. xx
Love this place!! Coffee , sourced from Caravan Roasters , is top notch. Raw cake selection is delish. Located right opposite bustling Alty market , with a chilled , super friendly vibe inside. But it's the awesome team of people that make this bar such a great place to hang out with a brew or two!

Excellent place for coffee and great Teas. Food is gorgeous clean and healthy options available. We got there just after 3 pm (prepared Food not served after this time) However they opened kitchen for us. It is highly recommended.
Common Ground have taken government advice on board to ensure staff and customer safety whilst keeping a lovely warm and welcoming atmosphere in very strange times.
The coffee was excellent, the food was outstanding and the customer care we received was second to none - if you are looking for somewhere to find a bit of joy in these unprecedented circumstances, Common Ground definitely has you covered!
They are also doing takeaway food and drink (see picture of their incredible brownies) if you're feeling anxious about going back to 'normal'.
Enjoyed a delicious brunch at Common Ground last weekend. I had 'The Big Breakfast' which was excellent, the sausages were superb.
The service was first class, very prompt and attentive, plus the staff are extremely friendly.
I thoroughly recommend Common Ground if you're looking for breakfast or brunch in Altrincham.
Lovely coffee, good food, with nice service. The furniture is beautiful and the decor is great, with lots of charm.
Really impressed by Common Ground with their excellent service, the super tasty/fresh food and the brilliant atmosphere. I came for the first time this morning with my two young girls and they absolutely loved it (a stern test passed!). I'll be back to check it out one evening, and have a go in their karaoke booth!
