Altrincham Fish Bar - Altrincham - Photo album

Had a great big freshly cooked haddock and chips as was recommended by the guy behind the counter. Perfectly cooked and crispy not too thick batter. Really enjoyed it. Cheeky curry, mushy peas & sausage on the side too 😋
Nice fish and open on a Sunday. Probably more expensive than the local area but good value for opposite the market
We popped in to get a snack between bars, the service was fast even though there was a bit of a queue. We had a regular portion, plus a pie and curry sauce amounting to £6. Which I think is a bargain to be honest! The chips were lovely and fresh, crispy with lots of salt and vinegar. The pie was a b
we nearly walked past this place but oh goodness thank the lord we didn't, we sat in the dining room at the rear which is quirky and very clean. The staff are extremely polite and then there's the food, the chips were perfect, wonderful tasty chips the cod had just the right amount of batter and the
Lovely fish, hot and well cooked. Great place to sit and people watch while eating lunch
Always a fantastic place to get fish & chips whilst in Altrincham. One of the few original fish & chip shops in the area always serving freshly cooked fish along with a wide variety of pies, chicken nuggets and accompaniments.
A cozy little fish and chips restaurant. The price point with what you’ll be getting is totally worth it. The fish were fresh and the batter was crispy. Highly recommend.
Really fresh and delicious fish and chips. The mushy peas are also very tasty, but they use brown bread instead of white for their bread and butter and the butter is sparse. All in all worth a visit, but wrap up as it can be cold in the restaurant in the back.
Had an early fish, chips, peas and cup of tea at about 4:30 pm on Friday. All fresh and nice. Understandably no longer a reasonably priced meal.
Best chippy in Manchester. Old school style with really good quality chips, fish and especially the curry.
I visited today, Fish and Chips are very good , I was allowed time to look at the menu without being rushed to order. Customer service was Polite and Genuine . Thank you I will be back
Loved the fish, the fries, the lovely ladies who manage the place. Great value for money. The food was fresh, and tasted great. Definitely recommend this local diner.
Fantastic. Not too much fish (I'm easily overfaced), well cooked chips and not at all greasy. Superb.
Hot & delicious chips & a whopper sausage! (Miss Chilli helped a little of course). We had both been walking for almost 2 hours, so were ready for something hot. Mmmmm. Jo x
My favourite chippy to visit. I've been going for 30yrs as my grandparents loved the place too. A family run establishment. The best fresh fish in Altrincham. Myself and my children love to sit on the front and people watch with fish, chips and curry sauce 😋.
what an excellent English chippy located by the market.wonderful food and very friendly service.you can either sit in have your meal or have it to takeaway.has your standard chippy menu but worth every penny.even I was full afterwards.recomend it to anyone for value for money.its also very busy whic
As good a Fish and Chips as any , in fact better . I shall be calling again as soon as I am in Altrincham. Large portion , pricey these days at £7.50 , but that's it if you want genuine Cod and a good portion. Service is also first class too.
Good fish and chips. Haddock only please, worth the extra quid like. Large chips to share always does it. Cans on tap and plenty of selection. Can sit in too if you fancy. Shuts at 8pm so get in by half 7, quarter to 8. Gravy over curry here guys....
