Solid, traditional pub. Dogs allowed (required) in the bar area. Good base to grab lunch, then off for a walk around Dunham Massey or along the canal.
Nice and quiet lovely staff plenty of parking, but we found the food a little expensive. I'm not sure how much the garlic bread was, but the chunky chips £3.50 and the ploughman's was £18
Traditional style pub building. Lots of parking available at the back. The place was lovely and warm with the weather being freezing outside. I had the salmon which was very nice. Vegetables could have been fresher. Desserts were excellent.
Great menu. Awesome beers and friendly staff. Great beer garden
Really enjoyed the time spent there. The food was gorgeous and the cozy feel was perfect for a cold day. Plus it's surroundings were beautiful! The staff was very attentive and genuinely nice.
Fantastic pub with log fires and observed it is dog 🐕 friendly. Had a fantastic lunch can recommend the home made steak and ale pie washed down by quality pint of real ale. We visited on a Thursday lunch time. The pub opens at miday and people were waiting for the doors to open, very popular. Would
Never been before, don’t know anyone whose been before….would definitely come back. Nice pub, well set out and great service from all involved. With friends who have a dog, pub extremely accommodating and dog friendly. Had a beer sat outside, went for a walk for an hour, came back and had food. Al
I’d not been here for a good few years, but was determined to return, and I wasn’t disappointed. The service is second to none (lovely staff), great atmosphere, extensive and varied menu and the food was excellent…good sized portions, too. Looking forward to going back again soon….
Had a family meal here with both adults and kids, there is a great selection on the menu and several veggie options. I had an epic slab of cheese pie that was delicious! We all enjoyed our food and the staff were so nice and accommodating.
Always lovely in there, low beams a real old pub atmosphere barmaids are friendly and always happy to help, had a coachkeeper reserve pint it was the best pint I’ve had in years! I haven’t had food in there for a few years but I believe it’s still wonderful!
A lovely pub and restaurant. Beautiful inside and out. Food and drink was first class Good price. And well trained staff. Very enjoyable.
Steak and ale pie was amazing!! I asked for extra gravey but didn't really get much and the chips aren't the best tbh, can't really pin point what's off with them but just abit rubbish :/ Burger was super juicy and nice but again with the chips, would go back but just ask for fries instead :) Baile
