I really like this pub. They have a lovely patio area overlooking Goose Green with heaters. The staff are friendly and service is good. The pies are great too.

Felt like a 'pub' rather than a wine bar which was great. None of the sticky floor stuff, great friendly staff and tastefully decorated. Sat outside in the courtyard which was nice with heaters etc. Cushions for the seats were available and I think throws were also around for the wimps! Loved it and would go there again.

Had a lovely night last night in the Taveen on the Green. Bar staff were so friendly. The atmosphere was great and so were the drinks. We will definitely visit again !
My son and I had lunch today here, and as usual the fare, service and hospitality was first class. James welcomed us and explained the new Summer Pies, each with a charitable donation from Pieminster for each one purchased. I choose the Mexicow and my son the Moodog each with mash and gravy and a side portion of crispy shallots. My son followed that that with Brownie and Ice Cream.
Everything was excellent, in the words of Arnie "we will be back :)", well done James!

This is a great pub! Menu consists of all sorts of delicious pies served with mash and minty mushy peas. Brilliant place to go when you realise you havnt booked anywhere! A gem.

Lovely place!! Nipped in for a quick drink before the ice hockey last night. We'll definately be back. Great atmosphere, nicely decorated and what looked like a pretty decent selection of gin.
Tavern on the Green launched a new menu on Wednesday night - Polish dishes. We tried the pork steaks, chicken, and pork stew dishes (between the three of us). All absolutely delicious!!The pork stew was definitely the highlight. The sauce was just absolutely divine. I do wish all dishes had had that sauce! But they were all good regardless. Really enjoyed. The mash, slaw and salad were all full of flavour and super yummy. We all loved the sides. Fabulous staff too. Huge thanks to a great dinner!
Great venue for the football, wide variety of bar snacks. Whether it be the football, DJ Les on a Saturday or Live music on a Sunday with Jordan. There is something for everyone and all the family. Drink prices have also been kept low to help people with the cost of living. £3.70 for a pint in the centre of Altrincham You cannot beat it!

This is one of my favourite places in Altrincham. The staff are brilliant, always friendly and considerate. Sunday nights are open mic night, always a great night! Come down and support this lovely place whenever you can.
Good pub with a brilliant atmosphere and lovely staff who are friendly and overall a brilliant place to go to if you want a pint or just a drink. Spoke to a brilliant boy behind the counter but I think the pub should be opened a bit longer
Really nice bar. They sell pie minister pies here so always good food available. Couple of vegan options available which is nice. Parking in the ncp about 1 minute through the square opposite frankie and bennies. Been here a couple of times and will come back again. Their website always has offers on too. Can get very busy at weekends as they show the football so if you want to eat on a match day call and book a table.

Warm welcome to a clean pub and friendly staff. James was especially welcoming... Pieminister pies on offer. I was served quickly, food was great, not over priced. They have a pub quiz on Monday evenings too which will I be returning for! They also had sports showing and upcoming fixtures displayed and a 'what's on' board for those who are interested. Will definitely be returning!
Second time here. From Minnesota... we need a pie meister like this. Extra yum.
Never been in this pub before but I really liked it, we were able to get a table ok and it had a really good feeling about the place.
Didn't have to wait long at the bar, lots of choice regarding drinks of favourite tipples, no idea about the beer though, sorry.
When in the area again I would definitely call in for a tipple
Lovely little place with champion pies. Footy on TV. Nice outdoor area backing on to goose green. Even has good TV outside for footy matches. Could do with been a bit bigger so get your seats early. 😁😁😁😁
