Another visit here recently. THE best fish and chips 👍. The batter on the fish was crisp and tasty and the chips were perfectly cooked.
The place is bright, clean and welcoming with very swift service. The owner is super friendly, as are the lovely people who work here. Highly recommend and as Arni
Alton Rock Choir had a summer party with fish & chip supper delivered to a venue, Janet & the team were amazing! From the first email to the delivery we had great correspondence and fantastic food. It was delivered to our venue it was hot & tasty, everyone enjoyed their meal.

Cheesy chips are the best I've ever had twice in a row, very good portion size and price, they are generous too with the cheese.
Veggie burger also comes with salad, cheese and sauce which is nice.
Bought large cod & regular chips after a long walk with friends. Quick & friendly service. Nice chat with the owner. Shop spotlessly clean. Food very tasty. Tartare & lemon slice were a nice unexpected touch. Highly recommended.

We’ve been coming here since they opened and have always had a fantastic fish supper. Really friendly staff and the food has always been fried to order. It’s also amazingly good value.
I need to eat Gluten free food , wehad just driven across from Hollend to South of England. We stopped in Alton were Cambells fish and chips delivered a Gluten free menu that tasted great, thank you 😊

Always gone here as it’s a local right round the corner, service has always been great. The chips are banging and my stables of fish cake, savloy or battered sausage are always very good.

First visit here in a good few years - I believe it’s either been renovated or possibly new owners. Appropriate portion size, crispy batter, tasty chips. Good experience using the online ordering. Will be coming back again!
Haven't been buying fish n chips for a few years because we have been so disappointed and they always repeat. (Sorry but they do).
HOWEVER!
We had large cod, haddock and large portion of chips tonight and they were absolutely PERFECT! Just as they used to be.

First time eating there and apart from having to wait a little as they were so busy with delivery orders it was well worth it!! Chips were bang on and not to greasy, lovely bit of batter on my fish and scampi was good too. They also do set meals for £5 that comes with a drink which are perfect size

First class fish and chips 🍟. The battered fish was first class, the batter being lovely and light with a creamy taste which complemented fish. The chips were a good size, crispy and very moreish. Very good value for money.

Ordered a takeaway online to be delivered. Super quick service, and food arrived very hot. The chicken was delicious. Customer service was so good, they returned a few minutes later to deliver a drink that was forgotten, that we hadn't even noticed was missing! Will definitely be using again.
Very tasty fish and chips!! Definitely the best in Alton! My wife has never been a big fan of Fish and Chips, but having cleared the entire plateful, said how much she had enjoyed them. Will undoubtedly be returning.
