The White Hart - Alton - Photo album

Just had a wonderful weekend stay here as a party of 5 adults and 1 child. A lovely pub in a pretty village with beautiful rooms and a warm welcome - couldn’t wish for more! The service was outstanding throughout and the English breakfast and Thai dinner were both perfect. If you like prawns then th
Had a great stay, very friendly. The room was very clean and spacious. Breakfast was great and quickly served. just one thing I would suggest for the room is possibly a table so you can sit and have your tea/coffee. But overall very happy will definitely be coming back.
After a long day at Alton Towers drove to the White Hart which is about 5 minutes away from the resort. There is parking available but when we arrived the car park was full.Managed to find a space right outside. Promptly shown to our pre booked table. The menu was varied although no drinks menu. Dri
Stopped here for some drinks. Very welcoming. There was a food vendor outside in the beer garden. They gave us a generous portion of pulled pork topped with various sauces which fed 2 of us.

Stayed here for 1 night, wish it could've been longer. Room was nice, no frills but clean and well presented and comfy bed. The staff were lovely and very friendly and helpful. The best part though was the Thai food, absolutely amazing. I travel to Thailand as often as possible and the food is the b
Very: popular, busy, noisy, friendly. Went there for dinner and food (Thai) was great. Will definitely come back.
One of the best meals I've had in a very, very long time!!!! Excellent service, lovely friendly staff, genuinely couldn't recommend this place highly enough!!!
My toddler and I visited after a day a Cbeebies Land. The staff and locals were friendly and food was delicious. A Thai menu with lots of tasty dishes to choose from, if I could have sampled every dish, I would have done! The White Hart is definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.
Good community run pub, super beers, & Thai food Thursday, Friday & Saturday evenings.
Nice, welcoming olde world pub with a great drinks selection. My family and I had booked in for a Thai, and it was amazing food! No complaints there. But unfortunately, the service was dreadful. Even though we had pre-ordered our food it was an hour late coming out of the kitchen, for which the you
We only had 2 days here but they were wonderful. The people we met were so lovely and friendly. John one of the directors of The White Hart spent quite sometime chatting with us and bought us a drink. The atmosphere was so relaxed and friendly this is a community run business. Stayed here this weekend. Lovely villagelocation, staff were fab especially at breakfast, room was spacious and breakfast was five star fantastic. Sadly the noise being above a pub was a bit loud so we never managed to nod off until after last orders. The room was a bit tired in bathroom but ok. Be
An absolutely lovely little country pub nestled in the heart of Staffordshire set in the Shadows of Alton Castle. This pub serves what I can only describe as as the best Thai food available. Freshly cooked to order to suit your tastes requirements. It's important 2 book in advance the dining experi
Rooms are immaculate, beds are incredibly comfortable, fab portion sizes in restaurant & the bar was good fun with very good cocktails!
Warm and welcoming host - Speedy check in and room key hand off. The room (3 person - 1 double 1 single) was clean and comfortable. The door for the stairs going up to the rooms slams which causes your room door to rattle which sounds as though someone is trying to enter, which is particularly unse
