I visited here with my parents a few weeks ago, this review is overdue. We had a warm welcome by a very friendly young man who was very attentive, despite being busy. We had a lovely lunch in a pleasant atmosphere and will definitely come back. If I lived closer I would go to their comedy nights too.
Many years ago (too many) I visited The French Horn with my wife but at that time you were not sure if it was a Pub or Restaurant, Boy has that changed, Great Food served on hot plates..Great friendly service and the young man serving us understood the needs of myself and my guests all of us over 75.
The food arrived spot on and quickly which surprised us seeing as the Restaurant was rammed.
We all had the Sunday Roast Beef
(£17.50) which included Cauliflower Cheese..Vegetables..and 3 or 4 slices Beef..excellent Roast Potatoes along with plenty of other veg. Timothy Taylor at £4.70..Stella.£5.00 followed by Coffee at £2.50 and £3.45 Latte the bill for the 3 meals and extras was £73.15 more than acceptable having had an exceptional meal.
A really cosy efficient Pub with friendly staff.

Went yesterday for last Bikers barbecue of the year. Lovely family Inn, great location. Beautiful dining room. Excellent quality barbecue food. Very friendly staff. Dogs welcome, perfect for couples or families lots of events.
BBQ for Bikers. It was a fantastic experience spending my afternoon at the French horn with my family and friend. I really enjoyed the positive atmosphere that all the bikers and the community gives out, furthermore the food was better than expected and slightly stunned me at the low costs of these delicious meals. And in general it was fun. I recommend this place as a nice experience to bikers but also to anyone interested in Bikes.
Stopped here for lunch. Found a nice comfortable table. Good menu. Food was good and was presented really nicely. Drinks were nice and we were brought a jug of water which was good. Lady behind the bar was on her own serving drinks and food and at one point was really busy but she handled it all very well.
Good food, lovely garden and convenient location a short walk from town which makes it feel like a proper country pub.
We've tried the polish meals, burgers and fish & chips, all were great.
The staff are always really friendly and helpful too.
Lovely front desk lady and beautiful atmosphere around.
They have some kids rides and toys as well.Just enough space for parking.
Food is just delicious, you will never experience the same excellent level of food in any Pub around.
However the only thing is the time you have to wait for the food.
Really enjoyed the Bikers Barbecue here today, thank you for hosting!! Weather was great & really enjoyed the burger & wedges!! Restaurant was also laid out for evening service & looked really nice!! Staff great!! Thank you, recommend highly!!

I went for the Biker BBQ as a returning customer. My Bike group loves this venue. It's a lovely pub with plenty of parking and great food and always a friendly face either serving you your food or drink. There are many of us that look forward to going back, especially when they have live music in the garden.
Everything about this place is superb. We stayed overnight in one of the. Rooms, very clean and comfortable. Great location. Staff very friendly. Definitely recommend.

Recommend dining here. One negative thing 3 or 4 mains not available and no deserts! But still would recommend probably best to book at weekend 😀

This pub has a very good local lunch business.
They looked after us beautifully, and serviced their local customer trade. All the food is fresh, and very well presented, and once again the staff were amazing.

Truly delicious food, friendly and attentive service, and a comfortable ambience. Excellent choice of drinks, particularly their beers.
Met with family to exchange gifts and have belated Christmas meal. The pub is very basic to look at but also has a rustic unpretentious charm. The lovely young girl serving us , Anna could not have been more welcoming and is a credit to the pub. The table we sat at was pleasantly decorated, a lot of effort had clearly gone into this. The food was simply out of this world delicious. In particular the steak, burger, triple cooked chips were incredible. The puddings were fab too. My teenager loved his polish apple pie, my fruit crumble was the best I have tasted and the fantastic selection of home made ice cream was something else! Such lovely food , service and atmosphere , thank you for making our family gathering so special xxx
