Wasn't planning to visit but as I walked past was drawn in by the warm light spreading from the two bay windows. Inside I was served quickly with an excellent pint of Abbot and there were many other to choose from. Thursday evening but still about two dozen punters. Great to see a wet pub doing well
We didn't eat here. Just passed by and popped in for a drink. Wonderful greeting by the hosts, homely, warm glow from the real fire too. The regulars were chatty, so lovely to be in a real pub, not many about now.
Great real ales, large car park and outdoor seating. Real fire, darts, dogs allows
Lovely little pub, very friendly staff . Local people drinking in there very friendly, dog friendly.
Amazing atmosphere, lovely staff, classic feel and a cute little cat outside. Couldn't ask for more!
Very friendly landlady and regulars, will definitely be coming back soon 😀
Let me be the first to put a review on abiut the NEW LANDLORD AND LANDLADY of the Railway Inn. The best compliment I can give them is to say I wish it was in Blackpool where I live, it would surely be my local. These two people are naturals in the hospitality industry. They will soon have the locals
Good, old fashioned pub. Six beers on draft on my visit; had an excellent pint of Bass & Titanic Cherry Porter. 1970s music/video but not loud or intrusive. Superb pub!
Look out for the fish and chip van. Great !
Good beer
This venue was friendly and inviting with a great atmosphere. The barkeep were friendly, the place was clean and they accept card aswel as cash payments, oh and they have outdoor seating. I look forward to popping in again the next time I'm in the area.
