Absolutely lovely Indian. We came here after a 15 mile hike so we were absolutely ready for some good food and this place totally delivered. The drinks were good, the food was excellent and the service was pretty good too.
The decor was stylish and inviting, the music and atmosphere were friendly and welcoming, every waiter that served us was professional and helpful, and the poppadoms, starters and mains were all fantastic. I particularly enjoyed the tandoori duck starter.
I've only taken off a star because it was just a touch pricey. We're pretty familiar with Indian restaurants and go to them quite often, and this one just came out a little on the expensive side I thought. That, and I had to ask more than once for some water.
Food is little bit on the pricier side, however they are all delicious and worth it. Waiter with the big rounded eye glasses was extremely professional and very accommodating with all our requests. Highly recommended.
We have been regular diners at Delhi Divan over several months. We never fail to be impressed with the food. Served quickly, by friendly helpful staff.
Good choice of food.

ASTONISHINGLY, astoundingly, fabulous food from a clearly gifted Asian/English chef. This guy could win awards. He creates his own unique sauces to accompany the starters for example. I would move to Alrewas just to eat here. But there is more! The waiting staff excell too. SO committed, so friendly and so loveable. I am in heaven in this totally unforgettable restaurant.
The fooand staff were superb. Everything they served was of an excellent quality and at a very very reasonable price. Would recommend it and will definitely be coming again
The service and food is faultless. The setting is somewhat sterile as the building is an old pub however I am sure, with time, this will improve.
You must try this restaurant and when we next return to this area we will have a meal here once again.
I had trouble booking here but all was good in the end. The staff were polite and helpful and the food was good. I couldn't give 5 stars as drinks orders were forgotten and service was slow. We were in a group so i can only think that that was why the food was slow.

A weekly visit for us - absolutely fantastic food and service, cannot recommend highly enough.
We have just finished our takeaway meal, and to say it was Outstanding, would be a great understatement.
The food was hot, in temperature, and Exceedingly Tasty.
We could not fault any of it, whatsoever.
Delivery was exactly when they said it would be also.
Perfect in every way.

We have been to lots of Indian restaurants and we have always used as a benchmark one weβd been to in York a couple of years ago. Well we were advised by a couple in our B&B to use the Delhi Divan, Alrewas. To say we now have a new top runner is an understatement. From the minute we walked in the experience started, the restaurant is so nice, the staff were amazing, the presentation and flavours of our food were exceptional. Totally blown away with this restaurant, many thanks guys, made our stay
Very nice location.. food good and excellent value for money
The Madras was sensational. Real full flavour. Top notch. The other dishes were great too. Had our meal as a takeaway, it was still steaming hot and fresh when we got home.
We have been coming here a few years now and always have a fantastic experience. The service is always so friendly by all the staff. The boss man is always so attentive and willing to share his knowledge of the menu by offering recommendations and even creating a dish when I canβt decide. The food always is top notch, great flavours and presented beautifully. Always recommend to all. Thank you Deli Divan.
lovely restaurant staff very friendly and had a great laugh with the waiter. The food is superb starters presented very well, mains were also very tasty I can recommend chicken shasni very nice. We didn't want the evening to end so even had desert which again was lovely not your usual rubbish scoop of ice cream in a coconut but a proper desert.
This was our annual get together with friends but we all hope not to leave it a year till we return.
The best Indian meal that I have ever tasted.. More than generous portions and the food was delicious.. Price was also generous.. ππππππ
Very nice little restaurant offering a wide variety of Indian food, we have been twice now and both times the food has been excellent. We went on a Tuesday when it is Β£10:95 for 3 courses which is really good value π
