Good food, decent coffee. Staff were excellent on a hot & busy May bank holiday. Kept queues moving quickly, including taking money from people buying just ice creams away from the main counter.

This is the most fantastic cafe in a lovely setting.... fabulous food, really friendly staff and a great place in the community for walkers, cyclists and visitors to meet. Really shocked to hear today that the River and Canal Trust want to give notice to close it and make it into an office of all things! Madness! That would be an absolute travesty. I truly hope they don't do this, there must be so many other places where they could get an office. Anyway, a brilliant cafe so please visit, enjoy their lovely food and hospitality and sign the petition to keep it open!

A standard walkers cafe. Outdoor seating only so as it's early spring, felt slightly cold so didn't stay long. I feel late spring and summer this place will be heaving. I ordered a breakfast bap (only white, no brown). If you prefer brown bread, the order needs to be for a breakfast sandwich. They will broadcast the collection number for food and drink.

Takeaway food you can eat sat by the canal. Beautiful setting but obviously wrap up a bit to stay warm. Yummy food and coffee. Reasonable price.

We love this place! Right on the side of the canal and perfectly situated for food and drink pre or post walk/cycle/dog walk along the canal 😊 The staff are polite and efficient and the drinks and food are always delicious. A bacon roll and/or a brownie along with a flavoured latte or hot chocolate are my go to! The seating is outside which is perfect for cyclists and walkers alike, however several areas are covered incase of rain! This little gem of a cafe is well worth a visit on your travels 👍

Great cafe on the canal front, nothing better than a cuppa at the canal, watching the boats pass by. Lovely selection of good tasty food, highly recommend.

When weather is good it's great. Alongside the canal with boats passing by. Nearby is a wooden area with a lake that you can walk round

Very good menu and reasonable prices. Coffee is nice and hot (why do some places serve it luke warm??) as is the food. Breakfast Bap is a particular favourite 😍 Usually have a good selection of cakes as well 👍 Bear in mind seating is outside and payment is card only - a hang over from covid. Once you place your order you're given a numbered ticket and as soon as your order is ready they call out your number. Haven't waited more than 10 minutes. Most of the tables are covered so even if there is a shower you'll stay dry and of course you're right by the canal so plenty to see!

We always have cake, ice cream and fancy hot chocolates at this cafe. Right next to the canal to watch the boats go by. Loads of seating and dog friendly. The dog ice cream always goes down a treat.
