A proper olde worlde pub serving homecooked pub grub in a beautiful cosy setting. Fire crackling in the hearth and homemade pie and mash. It's a way out from where we live but it's well worth the drive. The locals and friendly and the food is fantastic.
Met with the new owner yesterday. He told me of the planned upgrade renovations etc and will be certainly a great venue to go to. Fantastic views up the Meon Valley out the back.. We are Instagram buddies sharing the same name to avoid any confusion!
Great pub. Out in the sticks. Lovely atmosphere. Lots of fine real ales and ciders...Great food.. Proper country pub.
Popped in for a drink on our hike across the South Downs. Ran into a motorcycle meet, so clearly a very biker friendly pub! . Didn't have food but could see everyone else's and it looked amazing
Cannot comment on the accommodation but the food was really good and a large portion too. Lovely place to sit and chat and think straight. Never been here before but will probably come back if I am in the area again.
Food lovely. This is a lovely English pub with lot's of seating, nice views. It gets very busy so best to book on a Sunday. Children and dog's are well come. I have been back this week ( 4/8/22 still the same. Martin, the owner still in good humour, food still good. A lot of people there enjoyi
Not aware of any rooms. Stopped off for lunch on way home from Bristol Really nice pint of bitter and some good wine (not all for me) Excellent sandwiches and great chips Beautiful location. Attentive friendly service well worth a visit.
We always have a good experience at the Milburys, the food is superb and the ambience is great. We love the Landlords 'apparently' grumpy persona, must better than anodyne modern corporate 'have a nice day' staff in most pubs. The pub itself is historic and a lovely place to be. Dog friendly and bik
Lovely traditional country pub with excellent, reasonably priced food. Portion sizes are very generous. Plenty of pub food choices, although lacking in vegetarian and vegan options. Landlord is friendly and always makes us feel welcome. Have frequented a few times and will always plan to go back.
Had a work meal here. BEST scampi I have ever had !! And skittles was fun too. Lovely open fire and the chap behind the bar was a hoot !
