Lovely gift shop with a cafe serving hot drinks and a small selection of cakes. The shop has a great selection of gifts with an emphasis on British made/sustainability. There is also a pizza place in the same location, with covered seating. I assume they do takeaways too, great if you are camping nearby. We had a drink and purchased a small gift, which was beautifully wrapped. Worth a visit if you are passing.

1st this is the best coffee. Cakes are very good too. Coffee and hazelnut. Carrot, orange and walnut. Banana and fudge on my day. Disabled access. You can bring dog and sit outside. Very friendly service. Free car parking. Seating inside and out. Gift shop is really nice. The cleanest toilet I have been to in my 2 weeks in the area. Running hot water taps.

Well I stopped by here once again this morning whilst out on a local cycle ride and as always I was not disappointed. The people working here are unfailingly pleasant and helpful and the local area is beautifully rural and peaceful. Lovely bits and bobs to buy in the shop if that's what you are after but most of all the coffee is lovely and the cakes are magnificent! If I could improve things at all, to give 5 stars, I would like to be able to have the option to have a little pouring cream in my americano :-)

On holiday in Embelton we visited Ellie’s Barn for morning coffee and cake. The coffee was excellent as was the cake. All the better served on bone china with a cake knife and fork! Lovely courtyard to sit in.

Came across this place in the middle of nowhere whilst out exploring and saw their sign for wood burning pizza, so decided to try one. The oven was still warming up, so we had to wait about 20 minutes, so we had a coffee from the gift shop. The pizza when done was delicious and the perfect size for one and reasonably priced.

We called quite close to "last food/drink time" unaware but on our way back from a visit further up the coast. (On holiday but have been here a few years ago.) Whilst my wife was unable to have a coffee, alternatives were offered and cake was nice. Owner was very friendly and chatty as we discussed the array of interesting and quality gifts for sale. We would not hesitate to visit again when in the area.

Quite a nice place to pop into for a brew and to pick up a souvenir if you want. High end, so not cheap. Even so I have great respect for the proprietor in raising awareness of suicide among people as it happened to her daughter, and the proprietors efforts in raising funds for the chosen charity that helps deal with this difficult issue.

Small but well appointed gift shop, focusing upon local and indigenous crafts and products. Refreshments also available, including good coffee and a range of cakes, with lemon drizzle and carrot cake both being moist and flavoursome.
