Cosy atmosphere, warm. Friendly staff, however returned a drink as wasn't what I asked for, but they changed it without questions. Plenty on the menu to choose from. Not a long wait to be served, or in between courses. Food was delicious, hot, and we left nothing on our plates! Deserves all 5 stars,
It’s beautiful inside, so unique. Food was incredible, I had the duck and it was delicious. We booked for 12:30 and it got busier the closer it got to 2pm so we waited about 25 minutes for our desserts but I didn’t really mind tbh, it was lovely just being there! The cherry blossom tree pudding is m
Booked online for a Friday lunchtime. There was limited availability even though there were plenty of empty tables - maybe this keeps it feeling "exclusive". The service was excellent. We went for the two-course set lunch menu: soup of the day, coronation chicken terrine, Aberdeen Angus burger, ba
The most amazing place, with the most amazing food. Never had such exquisite tasting dishes. Beetroot pearls just popped in you mouth. Pineapple compote with chilli was differently delicious. Top marks all round. Worth every penny 💯
Great menu, wonderful service from all staff. Food was fresh and tasty, although my duck was a little dry. But this was rectified.
Everything else was great. Garnish and sauces really added to the meal, rather than been there just to look good. Vegan starter was nice too, could appreciate it even th
Stunning restaurant. I have wanted to visit this place in many years and finally visited Northumberland and realised how close we were. Booked a table for 5, one of the party was in a wheelchair with allergies. We could not have been better looked after and the food was exquisite. We will definitely

. Treehouse restaurants are unique as they provide a dining experience with a view. Therefore, you should expect the restaurant's location to be scenic, tucked away from the noise and crowds of the city. A good treehouse restaurant should be in a peaceful, secluded location, surrounded by trees and
Absolutely beautiful inside. The meal was surprising, everything was very good. The sticky toffee pudding was amazing.
Excellent service and food feels like entering into a Scandinavian world of witches' covenstead. Very magical.
Amazing place in an amazing setting. Second to none in that respect but sadly, the food was a bit of a let down. I'd still without doubt go back for a few beers on a summer or autumn afternoon if staying in Alwnick.
A really special experience
Dinner in an actual tree house
At night it looked beautiful with fairy lights
Staff are lovely
Great food, nice selection on menu and not expensive
Had lunch here for our 10th Wedding Anniversary...the staff were wonderful, food excellent and timely all in this beautiful place
An absolutely magical place!
The main reason for visiting was for my friends’ wedding ceremony, which took place in one of the smaller treehouses in this woodland treetop complex. It’s a gorgeously landscaped area set in the beautiful historic Anwick grounds, and really set off the whole experience
Good food and a unique setting. Lovely surrounding too.
