Black Swan Pub & Kitchen - Alnwick - Photo album

We called in here for lunch on a Sunday with the kids and luckily got one of the last tables. The service and food were excellent with lots of options for kids and the roast veg were delicious. Only downside was our table wasn’t clean when we were seated but that could be because they were busy. Oth
Fantastic food freshly prepared. The young waitress was so very polite & accommodating. Will definitely visit again next time in Scotland.
First time visit and very impressed. Lovely food, reasonably priced and very friendly bar staff. Lamb dinner was lush.
A walk down the street in lovely Alnwick. Decided to give the Black Swan a go. 3 fish and chips ordered, really tasty and the fish a large portion. Helpful service. We were very luck as the kitchen closed to orders not long after we ordered. A continuous stream of hopeful diners redirected elsewher
We stumbled across this place by accident, we went to go to a place a few doors down which was fully booked when we landed so called in here instead. I'm so pleased we did. The food was delicious and fresh. I ordered the burger, it was amazing. Crispy bacon, homemade burger, brioche bun. It was soo
Best fish and chips I’ve had for ages! Reminded me of the bygone age when you actually got fish in your battered fish. good quality red wine served at the right temperature. Caring staff. We will be back.
I ate in The Black Swan yesterday. I had the halloumi fries to start and they were delicious. The only reason I've given a four and not 5 stars is because I had pizza for my main and the dough was a bit thick and bready for my taste, I prefer this and crisp. Toppings on the pizza were all nice thoug

Could have done with a good clean before we sat at a table. Despite this, the food was lovely and staff fab
After hearing good reviews about the place a few doors down I was gutted I couldn't get a seat there so had to go to the black swan. It's was empty apart from the bar files so wasn't expecting much. It's was top notch 👌 the flank steak I had was tremendous
Dog friendly 2 4 1 pizza on Tuesday Sausage and mash for me Sweet potato fries were lovely Cajun chicken burger Food was ok Drinks bit expensive Would return
Not bad at all, relaxed on a busy day. Didn’t eat but very welcoming. Good relaxed atmosphere
Stopped for a meal, service quick and efficient. Shown to table. Good choice on menu. We went for a Sunday lunch which was very nice.
Nice pub. Has an “Olde worlde” feel about. More room inside than the front suggests as it goes right back. Food was excellent. We just had a light lunch in the form of a sandwich but I have to say it was one of the best ham sandwiches i’ve had. Unfortunately, only 4 stars due to the terrible coffee
