Fantastic friendly service and the food was amazing! We thought the take away food was the best but the restaurant experience surpassed expectations! The extra plus point for me was how you interacted with my teenage boys... fantastic social skills

Absolutely delicious meal, lovely atmosphere and very nice staff. Could not fault anything and I would highly recommend this restaurant.
I have had takeaways from Yan's before so I knew the food would not disappoint. (And it didn't) So when we used the Restaurant I was extremely happy with the staff, helpful happy and friendly. We will definitely go back again.

Gorgeous food and plenty of it! We came here for my daughter's birthday while visiting Alnwick at half term. What a treat. Super service and very friendly staff too. Very small restaurant, so you need to book - or get a takeaway!
I went to Yan's for the first time with my friends on Sat. The food was superb and the staff were very friendly. I would definitely go back.
We visited Alnwick just this week end for the Arts Festval at Alnmouth. What a wonderful experience at Yan's restaurant The staff ? well they are amazing very efficient but also so friendly and relaxed. Not forgetting how delicious the food is.The plentiful servings are more than enough for anyone. Did I mention how lovely these two waiters are by the way. I'm after a job there as the door keeper. Hope you remember us, because I know we'll never forget our evening at Yans Good Luck to all your family for your business in the future. We will certainly try and call again xx
We had a fabulous meal in Yan’s last night( 4 of us ) , everything you would expect and more, great fresh tasty Chinese food, excellent friendly service( from the owner I suspect ). We had to wait a wee while for a table which is always a good sign ( we hadn’t booked ) we will most definitely go back when next in the area. We enjoyed the whole experience, big thank you.

Every time we eat at Yan's we are delighted with the whole experience, the service is friendly, personal and quick, the food is delicious and there is a huge variety of dishes which you can mix and match. We are always pleasantly surprised at the prices for such excellent meals.

Our first night in Alnwick and we were tired and hungry after our 4.5 HR drive. We wandered looking for food and found Yan's. Lovely place. The staff were very friendly and within 5 mins we'd got prawn crackers and a drink. We weren't sure how food much to order but opted for just 2 dishes - Satay Chicken Malaysian style and chicken crispy noodles. Thank goodness we didn't order more. The portions are large and the food excellent. We really loved this place and highly recommend it.

The best Chinese food we've had in ages. Came here by default when we couldn't get a reservation in our favourite Italian restaurant and we're so glad we did. All the staff and the owner himself made us so welcome. The music quietly playing in the back ground added to the atmosphere. The food was served quickly with helpful information provided by the waitress when we weren't sure what to order. Highly recommended.

This restaurant is situated just inside Bondgate. Make sure you don't eat the same day that you visit here. The food comes in generous portions and is too good to waste. The crispy duck is particularly excellent!

House special curry one of the best I've had, good size portion reasonably priced with quality ingredients. Worth a visit.

I bought a take away and ate it at the Hostel. 5 Star food cooked to perfection and served by very friendly staff. Very reasonable price too. I know where to go straight to next time I'm in Alnwick.
