Great experience! Probably one of the nicest Toby's I've had! Well done, Almondsbury! We pop here on most visits to Bristol, as it's close to the hospital, and we're mostly needing to be quick! Fab food, great service, superb value, and staff friendly and efficient. Xx
Quick lunch stop on the way down south. To be fair, it's probably the best Toby i've been to! Food was hot, plentiful and tasty and the service great in the restaurant. Not so good when we walked in though and got completely ignored by the guy on the counter (bar?) in front of us and we had no idea
Visited twice recently. Clean car park with plenty of room. Signing to the pub entrance isn't great. Seated and greeted well. Table clean and tidy. Had a refillable soft drink which was cold and tasted good. Had the carvery which was well set out and the carvers were friendly and helpful. Overall me
Very busy Sunday Father's Day but food was great lots of choices meat wise and generous portions. Lots of vegetables on offer all cooked to a high standard. Staff were very friendly and helpful and ensured our large party had tables near each other. Thoroughly enjoyed it will be back!
The waitress that served us was super friendly, very professional and extremely efficient. She kept an eye on us and anticipated our needs without being intrusive.

Haven't had Toby carvery in years. Craved a roast with friends, the food was super nice and all the staff were super friendly! I was surprised to see such a bigger menu with many other options than the roast, for blpeople with dietary requirements. My only complaint it was so hot and sweaty in there
The prices for breakfast and carvery are very good in this high cost of living crisis. Food are cooked just right, services are very friendly. I must say in overall, it is a very good restaurant/pub. Highlight is the all you can eat breakfast. All food cooked exceptional.
Great quality carvery with excellent choice. Some indication that you can order carvery at the bar would make things better (rather than having to queue for a table and then being told to order at the bar). It was busy and they had some extra staff on, from another pub so all did well.
Friendly team, very attentive and delivering excellent service. Had lovely breakfast. Some of sausages were rock hard but don’t hesitate to ask for fresh ones as they are always willing to help.
Most hygenic Toby I've been in. Food was great quality and promptly served. And Jackie was so welcoming! Exactly what I needed after a long day travelling. Will be back again soon!

Good service by Jackie, the food was good and Tom the carver was lovely. Lovely surroundings very well kept it was nice and clean.
Very enjoyable, food nice and waitress was very polite and helpful. Just 1 gripe, my daughter had more meat on a child’s plate than I did on my adult plate.
Really lovely breakfast, good selection of items and very tasty. Quick service from the lady at the bar for payment and drinks too. Great start to our holiday!

I went here with the guys from work for breakfast. One of us was leaving so we tend to go here now and again.
Breakfast is all you can eat. That's always welcome.
Very disappointed there were no fried eggs on offer just scrambled.
