Just come back from afternoon tea to celebrate our friends 30th birthday... absolutely delicious � staff couldn't do enough for us lovely selection of cakes and the sandwiches were scrumy and really hot tea � and the plus side the sun was shining �and had a lovely walk around the grounds ...

Berwick is a fantastic setting with fantastic staff. We just renewed our wedding vows there and it was fabulous. Location - even more stunning than in photos! Staff - so welcoming and so very professional and helpful - nothing was too much trouble no matter how big or small the request. Highly recommend if anyone needs a venue. Always a warm atmosphere, and we cannot thank all the team enough for the great job they did in making in our day run smoothly. Thanks for everything - Kim & Chris x
Cannot rate this venue highly enough amazing food lovely staff beautiful grounds and stunning rooms we were even treated to watching a helicopter land in the grounds whilst we were eating - amazing! can’t wait to come back thanks so much for a great afternoon ��
This place is a dream, from the long meandering drive, you feel you have arrived in the middle of nowhere yet your only a stones throw from all Bristol has to offer. The staff were lovely, the atmosphere so relaxing, the food was totally amazing and the rooms are just something else :) This is a fabulous boutique hotel and I would recommend it to everyone.
We’ve just been to a fabulous wedding at Berwick Lodge. Everything was done so professionally and the venue looked stunning. On top of that the staff were amazing and very accommodating with my toddler, he slept through the meal so they kept his food for later and were generally just very friendly and helpful!
Had a traditional afternoon tea yesterday, great surroundings, very friendly staff my wife sandy really loved it endless cups of tea she couldn't stop smiling. Will come again.

We booked a traditional afternoon tea for my mum... it was a belated mothers day treat and we were not disappointed. The staff were very friendly and attentive and the sandwiches and cakes were delicious. We didn't get to go around the grounds as it wasn't great weather wise so I guess that means we'll have to re-visit... oh dear that's a shame! Lovely place and a great afternoon was had by all. An all round gem of a hotel. Booked a last minute overnight with my partner and couldn’t be happier. Fabulous room with a distinctive Turkish feel, great food and fabulous service. A real find and can’t recommend highly enough .... we will be back �

This hotel is great and I have stayed in a huge amount in my time. Personable on every level. Small little treats for the kids in the bar and the rooms with a friendly approach in all areas.
Marc and his teams food in the restaurant was second to none. Staff listened, were attentive but not overpowering. Food was excellent and we loved it all!
Have been twice already and would most definitely go back just for the food alone. Well done everyone!
Overall a nice venue, food was lovely quality and rooms were comfortable and clean. The only thing would be choosing a day to go. Children are allowed so good for families but this does distract you if you want a romantic couples relaxing experience. Staff were lovely and accommodating.
My children, my mum & I enjoyed our stay here. The reception desk staff were helpful & pleasant. The kitchen & bar staff were also helpful and patient. Breakfast was really good & generous. The spa area was very clean. Would be better if children were allowed more time in the pool. The air conditioning did not seem to work. The room was very warm, but the reception staff provided a fan and we slept with open windows. Only other downfalls were the toilet paper and facial tissues were left empty. The reception staff sorted out the missing toilet paper a short while after making them aware. The bedding was not changed during our 3 night stay. Other than this, overall we likes this place and hope to stay again there one day. Location is great and plenty to see within 15mins-1.5 hours drive away.
We came to use the spa for the day. The hotel itself was easy to find and parking was plentiful. As we used the spa, our parking was free. The staff were really friendly, the spa was basic, but suited our needs perfectly as we were having a girly catch up. The food was delicious and the service was friendly and efficient. It felt a bit odd dining in our dressing gowns alongside business men and women in suits and other members of fully clothed public. We had a very enjoyable and relaxing day. Thank you.

We stayed at the Aztec Hotel & Spa for our wedding and would happily stay again. Check-in and out was simple but it was a little busy due to their 3pm check-in time. It would be nice if this could be earlier, but i appreciate there is a room turnover time that might not make this possible. There was a little confusion as we were staying for 2 nights, 1 night booked by myself and the other by my wedding venue. Ideally, it would have been great if we could have had the same room for both nights, but it wasn't possible. Thankfully the staff were extremely helpful and did move all my belonging to my new room the day of my wedding which was great. The spa was amazing, and there was a male staff member on the spa check-in / help desk, which was absolutely wonderful. He was great to chat with and kept us entertained by delivering us our drinks while we were waiting for the jacuzzi to be fixed / turned on. Hopefully there is some sort of bonus system as it would be nice if he could be rewarded for going above and beyond. Can definitely say he was one of the nicest staff members we met during our stay. Breakfast was amazing, lots of options and tasted great. Overall we had a wonderful stay and made great memories.

I've gone for 4 stars because overall I was very happy with my experience but there were a few minor things I would have liked to have been different to have made it 5 star.
Firstly, the facilities were great. The pool was lovely and the changing rooms were clean. Use of the sauna, steam room and hot tub were all included in the £10 supplement and all were lovely and clean. The restaurant in the hotel was brilliant with food being served quickly and the steak I had was delicious! The staff were also all very friendly, helpful and prioritised customer service. The room was also clean, with plenty of storage, relaxing area and I had a gorgeous view of the lake.
My minor gripes were... No plugs near the bed so I had to plug my phone in by the TV and then leap out of bed in the morning to turn off the alarm whereas it would have been more convenient to have had an available plug. There was one behind the bed but it was a European plug so I couldn't use it.
Although I had a fantastic room facing the lake, I was also facing the terrace which gathered a large crowd in the evening and made my room very noisy whilst I tried to get an early night before heading off to work the next day.
The doors of the surrounding rooms also slammed and the noise was very clear from my room so it did disturb me a few times.
As I said, these were minor things but because the rest of my stay was brilliant the noise did disappoint.
Stayed overnight with a friend and made use of the spa facilities. Our package actually included a 25min treatment. I had a lovely back massage. There was a lovely room to chill in before and afterwards too. Very relaxing. Swimming pool was a good size. Sauna and steam room weren't that big but you don't want to spend too long in them anyway.
Hotel is lovely on the inside and we had a nice room. Loved the extras like White Company toiletries and different pillows to choose from.
Restaurant is nice and good service from the staff. Lots to choose from for breakfast although my pancakes weren't brill.
It's a bit out of town but would definitely stay again.
What a lovely hotel, the Receptionist who checked us in was the most welcoming I had ever come across (I did tell her!) and we generally found all the staff members to be polite, friendly and extremely hard working. Ella, who served us breakfast both mornings was very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The food was excellent and the hotel was very relaxing and professional to the perfect amounts. We enjoyed a swim in the pool which again was very welcome. The main thing that left a lasting impression was the staff who I cannot praise enough, they worked really well together as a team which was a pleasure to see. Thank you to them all.
The stay was unbelievable. Stayed for 1 night. I had the spa package included. The receptionist was very polite and welcoming and funny. The back massage was incredible. Now my back feel light. The pool area is amazing and relaxing. The drinks taste nice. The food was outstanding, I've never taste steak so good till now. All the staff are polite and friendly. We were late to our treatment session as we didnt have our robes or slippers but the receptionist was helpful with getting it for us. Garden is so beautiful and it was nice to sleep hearing the waterfall as it was a nice meditation sound.
10/10 from me and i will definitely be coming back again.
Just had a fabulous 2 day spa break with my daughter. The hotel was extremely well maintained and our room was spotless and very comfortable. Every member of staff we met or spoke to was friendly and helpful and the food in The Curious restaurant was a delight.
The spa area was nice although the pool area could get a little busy at times. This didn't worry us as we absolutely loved the relaxation room with the extra touches of complimentary teas, water, snacks and fruit. Our treatments were perfect and we left feeling relaxed and pampered! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a spa break - thank you!
