Visited the restaurant for a Sunday lunch in the heat of summer. Beautiful place, doors and windows open so kept cool. I had pork belly, wife had the roast chicken and we agreed it was the best pub roast we'd ever had. Dessert was also delicious and wonderfully presented. Service was fast and friend

We visited The Marquis of Granby for the second time and it was just as brilliant as the first. The menu is full of seasonal dishes. Many of the base ingredients are the same but are done in completely different ways for each dish.

A lovely pub. Friendly service and the Ale is always in good condition. Inside is warm and cosy in Winter, and the outdoor area is bright and spacious in Summer. Highly recommended for a visit and a pint of Harvey's.
Lovely bar with great food. Nice atmosphere and all the staff we spoke too were nice and welcoming. Can get busy which is a good sign.
This is a gorgeous place. The only thing I would say is there are lots of little steps and low door frames and non of them have safety tape (black and yellow tape) to let you know they are there. I fell down the steps a few times and hubby banged his head in our room. It's not a complaint just a co
All services at the Marquis of Granby were outstanding. The room I stayed in was gorgeous. The food and pub was excellent as well. Would recommend for any couples wanting to get away.
We absolutely loved our stay, and meals, here. Fantastic hotel; the collard room, with the giant copper bath tub, was really nice. Super comfy bed and the bath tub you don't want to leave. Only slight negative would be the noise from the hallway when people come by, and from the bar area downstairs.

Gastro-pub with a cosy, classic-contemporary feel. We only went for dinner so I can't comment on the hotel aspect (but I'm sure that's great too). We were glamping locally and this was the only pub in walking distance and I'm glad!
