Had a delicious Champagne Afternoon tea yesterday. Very light scones and melt in the mouth pastries. Today had three course lunch. Double baked cheese and leek soufflé was incredible. Complete meal was divine. Attentive staff and comfortable welcoming atmosphere. Definitely returning soon

Great to visit the recently refreshed Wingrove House for dinner last night. Fantastic to have the restaurant back down into it's 'proper' place and the new light and airy feel is fantastic. It was a lovely evening and all the doors were open onto the stunning terrace and garden. It was great to enjoy a pre dinner drink in the lounge and coffee afterwards out on the terrace. The food was top notch and as locals we had a voucher for a free bottle of wine with dinner. You can't say fairer than that, top notch!
